Visited this restaurant today where we found cockroaches in the veg kaju curry(which is a gravy dish but they serve it like mix veg sabji and cashews over it ) .

The waiter was so lost that everything was being served late . He forgot what we ordered and he confirmed order couple of times . If you ever visit this place do see the horrifying untidy kitchen which makes it not at all hygienic . It’s not only display appearance hygiene comes from the kitchen which is worst part of this place .

Overall rating - (- 2 STAR ) After this experience I wish google add an option for negative ratings also , because As I could see and read previous comments by people . If negative ratings was an option this is a zero...

One of the oldest restaurants in Ahmedabad with value for money food served. Very popular in the area near the V S hospital Ellisbridge area. The decor is average. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty and wholesome. Their fixed Punjabi Thali is great value for money. Their signature dish is the puri-shaak and Channa-puri that comes with giant sized puris one cannot finish on their own. They also serve a wholewheat version of the puris in case you avoid Maida, like me. Khichdi kadhi is also served in the evenings. Their bhel is also quite popular. Mehta also serves juices and milk shakes. A lot of people come to mehta for the parcel service...
