On google i searched for authentic maharastrian food and I visited the restaurant on 01 May 23 with my family. The aged person sitting on billing counter responded arrogantly stating..we and the hotel are from Sir Sayajiraos period but now we are not dedicated in supplying maharashtrian food. We are not here to serve Maharastrian food. Thus with a disappointment we ordered Dal bati and One Puran podi. Dal bati (3 piece cost around Rs 170) and Puran Podi (1 piece cost around Rs 50). The Dal Bati was served cold not upto the standard. Even they didn't served the food items in proper plate. The size of piece were small not upto the it's price. Secondly the size of Puran podi was too small which in no angle should be of Rs 50.
Further, there was one lady who seems to be as controller and order taker for all the orders. I forgot to ask her name otherwise would have mentioned the samein my review. She was the most arrogantly, misbehaved lady there. She was herself taking order , saying the availability of food and was serving also. While sitting there I observed She was not only behaving with me but with other people's who visited the restaurant for dine in showing her control over there. She needs to be taught the way hospitality is to done bt the catering service providers. Alongwith with me I was having my 2 years old daughter. She was having food and was enjoying around to which she arrogantly scold her saying sit on the chair and eat. I just wanted to move from that place so i requested them to pack the remaining food which my daughter was eating but due to rude behaviour we stopped and dedicded to move out. Surprinsingly the lady said i will not touch and pack the remaining food. I just dont wanted that the food is thrown away and wasted but she didnted. Later I asked to provide me foil and packed myself. On being hungry I order an another Dal Bati to eat at home, the delivery packaging items was LOOSE grade plastic. Nothing to say more.. total...
Read moreThis is the ultimate place in my trip to VADODARA!!! The most happy food was served here.... Being an Indori I love having North Indian food and specifically the Gujrati or Kathiyawadi food... This place served unlimited food for mere INR 100/- The thali system is followed by the place... This was the best place I had Gujrati thali in VADODARA and is the place i would recommend anyone traveling to the place... The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the point that the towel they kept near the sink was damn dirty which although not a deal breaker as they do have tissue paper on there disposal for which you need to ask the payment counter to be provided 😂 but was an experience that I must share.... But apart from this the staff was and might be is friendly and food is just wow for the price one shall pay! (Just didn't click photos as I was more into finishing the aamras and buttermilk that was served)
Agar boring lage to mat padhna and grammar nazis... Please stay away... Mai Oxford ki dictionary leke nahi...
