Martino'z Pizza - Baroda — Restaurant in Gujarat

Edit 3: Editing the review as we visited again, and after my previous review, they've improved things. The pizza's taste was decent, and the service was good. It's nice to see restaurants making changes based on customer reviews.

Edit 2: Editing my review as Mr. Vraj Patel had called me and apologized for the service issue, which I appreciate. However, I won't increase the ratings until I visit again and see if the improvements mentioned in my review and discussed on call with Mr. Vraj have been implemented.

Edit 1: Editing the review, my previous review had 4 stars but changing it to just 1 star now. Went for lunch. Service this time was worst, waiters were playing games on their mobiles, owner really need to check on their employees else this franchise will shut down in few days if such service continues. Not only service, pizzas too were below average this time. We ordered Smokey Barbecue, Rome Chipotle both with dual cheese, Morocco Fusion and Texas Treat normal crust. All pizzas tasted below average. Cheese was just in the centre of the pizza and wasn’t spread on outer edges. They took more than a hour to prepare the pizza.

Original Review: (Old review which had 4 stars) We ordered Martino’z Cottage Cheese Pizza and Rome Chipotle, both with dual cheese burst. They tasted really good, base was crispy, and their buy-one-get-one offer made the pizzas affordable. Even though they took longer to make (1 star less for this), the yummy taste made waiting worth. We ordered only pizzas. The medium pizzas are decent in size. Quality of toppings is good. Punjabi Paneer Tadka was all round great pizza. It had a cheesy base, great sauce, paneer was tasty and well cooked. Pity then, that Salsa Mexicano was very average (despite being in "Legend" category) - hard crust, basic toppings and nothing special about the sauce either. It could have been much better.

As far as the restaurant is concerned, it's got good decor and can house 6-8 groups of 4-6 people each. There was waiting at 9:30 PM on a weeknight, so I'd suggest going a bit early. The restaurant is pretty but to our disappointment it was overrun with mosquitoes. The eating experience was affected by it. I have mixed feelings about this place honestly. I wish them well and hope they get their act...

We had very negative experience on a Birthday, chef and service staff are not aware about menu pizza, we ordered pesto Pizza, after having like a half didn't got test of Pesto and I asked where is the pesto in this pizza ? I opened in front of the staff and asked, even they called chef and he said may be it was put less that's the reason we all can't see the sauce. Well the surprised thing was when I asked the person incharge seems don't have idea, they are spending lot of money on marketing but they really needs to focas on the menu and service, we even had their special seven cheese pizza but honestly it was below our expectations.
