McDonald's — Restaurant in Gujarat

Plese carry change in your pocket to get extra napkins since they charge 1 rupee per napkin. Doesn't even deserve one star but had to give one in order to write the review. This review is in regards to my HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience at Mc Donald’s at chandkheda, gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Timing of the restaurant here is 10am to 10 pm. We arrived at the location at 7pm. Due to covid situation there was limited sitting and we were asked to wait outside for 15 minutes, which is understandable. After half hour of waiting we were told that the restaurant is getting closed at 8pm even though closing time was 10 pm and we won’t be able to sit and enjoy our dinner at the restaurant. So we had to talk to the manager and request him to let us sit since we were waiting from last half hour outside the restaurant. It took them 15 minutes to decide if they can let us sit inside the restaurant.

After I gave my order, it took them 15 minutes to give us our order and when we received the order, they asked us to leave the restaurant and take our order outside and eat, even though they gave us permission to sit and have our food at the restaurant. We then had to argue with them to let us sit because we were traveling from different part of the state. Then they gave us just 10 minutes to sit there and have our food.

Little more to this, they didn’t provide any napkin with the order to requested some and the rudest thing that we experienced was from one of the employee named Nimesh. He yelled at us and said that napkins are ONE RUPEE per piece and he won’t give us any. I had to give him 10 RUPEES to get 10 napkins so we can clean our hands and mouth while we eat.!! Before we can finish our food, we were asked to leave the restaurant. We gave up our half meal and left the restaurant.

I had a delightful evening at McDonald's yesterday, indulging in my all-time favorite Mc Cheese Meal, Corn and Cheese Meal, and a regular Aloo Tikki Meal. As expected, the burgers and fries lived up to their reputation and were absolutely delicious. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. One thing that particularly stood out was their commitment to maintaining a high level of hygiene, which is always reassuring for customers.

However, the Kitkat McFlurry left a bit to be desired. The Kitkat McFlurry seemed like a simple combination of vanilla ice cream with a sprinkling of Kitkat on top, lacking that extra special touch I had hoped for.

Despite the mixed feelings about the McFlurry, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. The mouthwatering burgers, perfectly seasoned fries, and the restaurant's inviting atmosphere made the visit thoroughly enjoyable.

All in all, McDonald's continues to be a reliable go-to place for a satisfying and tasty meal. With their scrumptious burgers, comforting fries, and commendable hygiene standards, they have once again proved their worth. They couldn't even keep their own promises, I applied a promo code "wkndmeal", at first it didn't show up on the bill even after being successfully applied by fulfilling the terms and conditions for the promo, so canceled the order, and ordered the same for the 2nd time. Applied the promo code, it still didn't show up on the bill, got a bit confused and thought it may have a problem showing it on my phone. Placed the order thinking it's not possible that the system would not take the promo code after offering it by itself. My oder amount was ₹989 to be precise so the promo code should be accepted considering the minimum order amout is ₹799 in order for the promo to get applied. Placed the order finally and the items on the promo code weren't delivered. So I called the store and asked to deliver the remaining items saying "we don't see a promo being applied on your oder". They asked for a screenshot of the bill which includes the promo. I sent it to them on the number they provprovided me with. I didn't get a reply from them till now nor the remaining items. I can say it's a fraudulent act based on the suspicios behavior they were showing to me. Nobody knows what's going on there. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED didn't expect it from...
