Mexicaanos — Restaurant in Gujarat

Ordered through Zomato for 2 plates Pasta however staff/owner behaves rude to avoid delivery for 2nd plate which was missed by Mexicanos to deliver it. Blaming customer that it’s not Mexicanos responsibility if it does not reach to the customer as customer does not have porter app and he will not do anything… Person over the call is rude and not ready to provide solution to his own mistakes to reach order at the customer’s place.. Moreover, he spoils our time in not delivered and arguing about that… Not even single time, he admitted his mistake and on top of that he is mentioning that will deliver if you(customer) arrange through porter app. Else he can’t do it.. Zomato charged us for 2 plates and Mexicanos does not have any courtesy to be polite and refund or do anything to deliver if he really wants… why Zomato is not confirming order placed and received as per mentioned order or not ? If not as per order placed then why Zomato is not delivering for pending order and charge to the restaurant? Why Zomato is not delisting such restaurant from their menu for such irresponsible behaviour of owner/staff to hide their mistakes… Why always customer has to suffer due to Zomato and...

Visited this Mexican restaurant in Ahmedabad recently — overall a good experience with some highs and lows.

✅ What I liked: • Mexican Rice Bowl: This was the highlight of the meal! Great flavor, perfectly cooked rice, and well-balanced spices. It had that authentic touch and felt hearty and satisfying. Definitely recommend trying this. • Pasta: Although not traditionally Mexican, I tried the pasta and it was surprisingly good. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right — a nice fusion touch.

❌ What could be better: • Nachos: Unfortunately, this was a letdown. The quality didn’t feel fresh, and the taste was a bit bland. The chips were not very crisp, and the toppings could be improved. I expected better, especially from a place that specializes in Mexican food.

Please try any other place for better food and service. They charge a lot, give less and service is worst.

I ordered 2 items and I was the 1st one to give the order, they kept me waiting for 40mins that was still ok for me, but before giving me the 2nd item Lasagna, my 1st item Mex. Hotpot was kept ready since 30mins and i told them that this would be already cold now... but the owner told me that its still hot and you can eat it, there wont be any issue.

This was the worst service I have ever got on the IIM street food, as I have tried almost everything on iim. Plus their food quantity really doesnot match their price. The prices of every item they charge are like restaurant ones but the quantity sucks. Food was good, but their service and way of answering to their customer is worst.
