Don’t Fall for Fake Reviews – This Place Has Gone Downhill!

A few years ago, Navrang used to be a good restaurant, but now it’s completely degraded. Today, I had lunch there and ordered the Jain Punjabi fixed thali. At the time of ordering, I specifically asked them to bring the dal along with the thali, and they assured me it would come together.

When the thali arrived, there was no dal. I asked about it, and they casually said, “Jain hai na, isliye time lagega.” I kept waiting, finished more than half my meal, asked 2-3 times, and only then did they finally bring the dal. And guess what? It was the worst dal I’ve ever had—just plain boiled dal, no masala, no taste at all. When I questioned them, their response was like “Jain dal aisi hi aati hai.” They took it back and brought another bowl after 5 minutes, but it was the same—bland, tasteless, and not worth eating.

To top it off, when I brought this up at the reception, the person there didn’t care at all—no apology, no proper response, nothing. It felt like they weren’t even bothered about customer experience anymore.

I strongly suggest DO NOT waste your time and money here. They used to have a name before, but now it’s completely ruined. The reviews online are misleading—probably paid. Food is good but services are very fast...I had visited few days before, I ordered starter and main course. 1st they served starters and I just started to eat, suddenly they were come and served my main course even I didn't completed my starters. After that when I had finished my main course and started drinking buttermilk again they were come and put the finger bowl on the table I told to that person let me finished properly after that you can served. He told me that this is orders from management.

After all you want some peace during your food. Please never visit that place.
