On my recent visit to Moi, a place that boasts an inviting ambience and promising culinary delights, my experience turned out to be quite the mixed bag. I had high expectations, given the joint's reputation and the rich, stylish environment it presents.
What I Loved: I ordered the Double Chocolate Chip Cookie, which turned out to be an absolute delight. The cookie was soft, scrumptious, and filled with gooey, melty chocolate chips. Each bite was a chocolate lover's dream, with a perfect balance of sweetness and a delightful texture that left me wanting more. This cookie was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a penchant for chocolatey treats.
What Fell Short: Unfortunately, the Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Mini Tart did not live up to the same standards. While it had a good flavor and texture, it lacked that special something to make it stand out. Considering its price tag, I expected a more exceptional experience, but it simply did not blow me away. It was decent, but not memorable.
Service - A Major Letdown: The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. The staff were somewhat inattentive, which led to a less-than-pleasant dining experience. To make matters worse, they completely forgot one of the items I ordered, leaving me waiting for 40 minutes. Eventually, I had to leave without ever receiving it. For a place with such a rich ambience and a stellar reputation, I expected a much higher standard of service. It's an area that definitely needs improvement to match the overall dining experience they aim to provide.
Final Thoughts: While Moi offers a beautiful setting and some delightful treats, the inconsistent quality of their offerings and the lackluster service take away from the overall experience. With some improvements in their service standards and a bit more attention to the execution of their dishes, Moi has the potential to...
Read moreDear Chef Niharika Ma’am,
I hope you take this review seriously.
I’m deeply disappointed with the experience I had at MOI on my birthday today. Despite being a loyal customer since your beginning, when I visited your outlet at 11:45 PM (after traveling all the way from Chandkheda in heavy rain), your manager Mahendra Singh refused to let me and my cousins sit and eat, insisting the store must close by 11:55 PM.
I genuinely requested only 5–10 minutes to quickly finish pastries on a special occasion, but was flatly denied. For a place built on joy and celebrations, this rigid, unwelcoming response felt more like an airport than a longtime loved cake shop.
We’ve always loved MOI’s products and recommended them widely to many around us, but this lack of basic understanding and customer care has left me with a broken impression today. I hope you take this feedback seriously and encourage your team to show flexibility and empathy in such genuine situations.
Sadly, I would never wish to visit your store again, due to this non-welcoming behaviour for a mere 5-10 mins of enjoyment on a special day, and for the rigidity and strict time following schedules, despite knowing the background of travel and rains, a little extention of 5-10 mins wouldn't have hurt anyone.
Note: To anyone reading this, the cakes and pastries are always superb, the service left a very negative impression, and lost a loyal...

My friend didnt even touch it after having a bite, she said and i quote " the whole taste and mood is ruined" so please check before getting that! The caramel tart on the other side was quite good, the tartshell was nice and crispy, same goes...
