Navjivan Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

I am in Surat for a business trip and came across Navjevan restaurant by default (as the hotel offered room service only from this establishment).

I tried several vegetarian dishes during my two week long stay at Hotel Galaxy. I can’t comment on their dine-in experience and their non-vegetarian menu, but all the takeout vegetarian food I ordered in the span of almost two weeks were DELICIOUS.

I am not big eater and because I was traveling alone, I really appreciated the half portion option on their menu. Even the half portion was too big for me, so I’d think their full orders are a generous serving size.

I chatted briefly with Asif during one of my pickups. He was sitting outside (I believe for takeout orders). He was friendly, warm and respectful. I think Asif is a great asset to this business ;to have someone so pleasant to greet the guests makes the dinning/takeout experience that much more pleasant!

As any outside food, their food is on the rich and heavier side, so don’t think one can eat here on the regular; I will definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice...

Great experience! I prefer to visit this restaurant with your Family, rather than going alone, cuz the tables are 6 and 5 seaters mainly. I was asked to move out of the table because of it 😡,but gave me a 4 seater table😊. It was fully air conditioned inside. 🥶

I visited this place around 6pm. The interior is so hygienic, we'll maintained ✨. I was very hungry so ordered a half plate chicken biriyani and a lime juice. Both of them were delicious 😋. Lime juice was a little bit expensive (₹30) but I liked it a lot. So I ordered it again.

I should mention about the staffs. They were super polite and patient with each customers 💜. They came near my table whenever I thought of calling them, without even having me call them.

After I had completed my food, they brought a plate with lemon inside to wash the hand, which was also very professional of them. I overall loved visiting the place. 👌🏻

Clean setup, efficient and timely serving makes restaurant great value for money. Choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is amply elaborate. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Service is prompt. Caramel Custard, served a bit chilled is definitely must-have at this restaurant. Serving portions in full and half plate, makes for easy eating for single person. Portions are a bit on smaller side. Wonderful place for a quick bite. Closes down for few hours in late afternoon till...
