New Freezeland — Restaurant in Gujarat

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a serious incident of finding a mosquito in the food served at Freeze land. I believe this incident raises concerns about food safety and hygiene standards that require immediate attention and investigation.

On 10/06/23 , I visited the aforementioned establishment and ordered Bhaji Pav. To my shock and disappointment, as I began consuming the food, I discovered a cockroach in the dish. I have attached photographs evidence documenting the presence of the cockroach for your reference.

Not only did this incident cause me extreme distress and disgust, but it also raises questions about the overall hygiene practices and food handling procedures followed by Freeze land . It is essential to ensure that such occurrences are not only addressed promptly but also prevented from happening again in the future, potentially risking the health and safety of other patrons.

I took immediate action by notifying the restaurant staff and management about the issue. However, I feel it is necessary to escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. I kindly request your department to initiate an inquiry into this incident and take the necessary steps to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Ordered a vegan club. I was surprised that a place in ahmedabad had a vegan option. The sandwich came with a buttered crust. I asked the manager if he knew what are vegan dietary requirements to which he said the mayo is vegetarian sir. When I said you can't use dairy products, his excuse was that customers complaint the vegan sandwich is dry. Don't include a vegan option on menu if you can't serve one. Imagine serving a vegetarian with some meat. That is what it feels like for a vegan. You are lucky I am not lactose intolerant. Also Sorry is an important word for customer care. You could have at least said sorry. Easier to eat a sandwich on street and request for no butter rather than eat here. Fancy interior and menu doesn't mean the people have been trained to cater to special dietary requirements. To the owner, you can use margarine as a spread on vegan sandwich. That is soy based. Such a fancy place but complete disregard for dietary requirements. Note: We paid for the sandwich and I didn't eat it. Others with me weren't vegan and finished it off. I can't bring myself to waste food but will not go back...

Frankly, I wanted to rate them with 4 star if not 3.5 then. The food is good, no questions on that. Food servicing on table is also acceptable except.... The staff attitude and behavior is not appreciable.

1. They all are seasoned and exist there for very long time so they don't much care about customers... for them ...its like "kahan jaayega....aaya hai to khayega hee na". They are like tough skinned and nothing fall on their ears if you ask or request them. Leave respectful or inviting nature, each one is like doing some favor to you.
2. Dare you tip them less then Rs. 50, and then see reactions on their faces. They are internally murmuring or signaling other staff that they have just received this much.

I am visiting this place for more than 7-8 years, but, this attitude of servicing staff is something that has always bothered us, but only this time I am writing about it...just avoided writing about it till now because of good taste of their food. I feel with good taste if their staff becomes a little more respectful and exhibits hospitality, this place is a must go...
