HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE AT RADISSON GROUP, PLEASE AVOID.
We stayed here for my recent one night trip to Ahmedabad.
A series of events went wrong during the entire experience from booking to check out.
Please read along so that I can put out the reality of the hotel staff here.
I made a booking via their official website (with breakfast) and one day prior to my check in, I received a call from the hotel confirming my arrival, but the staff completely denied that my booking includes breakfast -- I then had to call the central helpline and get it sorted out - which they could have done from their end if they just called the central number when I said "Could you check with your internal team" - which was completely denied on the call.
The standard check in timing of the hotel is 2 pm, we reached by then. After a while by 2:30 pm the room was allotted to us. We see that the remote controlled blinds in front of the washroom are not working. I immediately called the main desk and asked for help because without that being fixed it's uncomfortable to use the washroom (even for a couple)
The maintenance person came, opened a few screws, panels and made a mess while the repairs went on. Upon completion I asked for a room change as the whole room was dirty with dust.
Suddenly after a while the blinds fell off on their own, this time I was extremely frustrated as we came to the hotel after a tiring journey and wanted to freshen up and rest. The hotel staff showed me rooms on floor 6, mind you many rooms like 204, 215, 216 were unoccupied - I clearly asked them if we could be accommodated on the same floor but to my surprise the rooms on floor 6 were pathetic. So I refused to move and asked for more options, later they showed us 3 rooms on the same floor - This is how the hotel staff played it smart -- Specifically Mr. Adarsh.
I finally settled for room 216, which was next to the service lobby but we had no option.
Now when I come back to my room, I see that while we were checking different rooms the maintenance person has ENTERED MY ROOM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. All our wallets, suitcases, cash, and jewellery were lying open to be looted.
I then spoke with the assistant manager Ms.Jyothi and she apologized and gave us an upgrade to a junior suite room - We didn't ask for it, we were already ready to settle in room 216, but this was a way of her making things right. We agreed and moved in.
Until all this drama concluded, the time was around 6-6:15pm. Which is 4 hours past the standard check in time.
The next day around 11:30 am, I called the front desk to inform them that I'll be checking out late around 4:30pm which is exactly how much time they created and concluded the drama in yesterday. From the front desk Mr. Gaurav clearly denied saying "Ms.Joyti has given me time till 3:30pm" - I really want to ask him and the entire hotel staff - Who are they to give me time until 3:30 pm, they have caused all the chaos yesterday and it was only fair for me to get the extended time which I lost yesterday.
Finally they agreed for a check out at 4:30 pm, but with a passive aggressive tone that they're doing me a favour.

Food: One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at the hotel's restaurants. The variety and quality of the cuisine surpassed my expectations, and each meal was a delight for the senses. From the lavish breakfast buffet to the delectable dinner options, every dish was expertly prepared and served with care.
Overall, my stay at Radisson Hotel Ahmedabad was nothing short of excellent. The combination of luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and delicious dining options made it a truly memorable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.
