Regenta Central Antarim Hotel — Hotel in Gujarat

AVOID this so called Hotel like the great plague. The Hotel boast a 4 star and is not worthy of this rating. A hotel that has AC that pumps out stale air and also the smell of cigarette smoke from the adjoining rooms. The rooms are dusty and there house keeping is terrible. Bed sheets never get changed and are stained. Bath and hand towels are stained and smell terrible. The front desk Manager is arrogant and has no single ounce of customer service skills nor does he understand the value of customer service. The restaurant/breakfast room is despicable and be warned you walk in for breakfast your fresh clothes will come out smelling like the room! Food is sub par and the branded Coffee Day machine is a insult to Coffee Day as a vendor to this hotel, as it was either never functioning (80% of the time during stay) or when functioning was producing the worst coffee you can imagine. Rooms have no sound proofing and you will hear the next rooms television at full whack most of the time as this is the type of crowds this place attracts. I hope you take the time to read this review as I speak as a international customer and this review is honestly for them as you deserve better. To give you a better understanding I cut my full booking short in order to get out the hotel and never come back again. BTW I paid 5 Star hotel prices via their website which claimed to give me a 35% discount which they also did not avail and also change their rates per day so when the final bill is formed you will have a shock. It is ideally located new property with theme based rooms.The rooms seem to be spick and span at the first glance but, for me the three days stay had been full of unpleasant experiences:I checked in the first day into a non smoking room, but the room was full of tobacco smell which was not bearable and within one hour I had to request to change the room.Adding on the cupboard had lot of tiny insects. After changing the room, noticed the insects in the same area here also,but informed the reception the next day, to get the things rectified.To my utter dismay, upon my return in the evening,nothing had been done about the insects.Ultimately, the room was changed again. Noticed mosquitoes, in this room also.The height was that the dining table had tiny cockroaches and the napkin had a dead housefly.Tried to ignore,but lost patience when I saw one of the chefs eating in the kitchen with bare hands and using the same hands for cooking.

Undoubtedly the ambience is good, the food was good and tasty,the front office staff extremely courteous, but they need to look into their pest controls system. On the whole, I will give one more chance before...

The hotel cannot be classified as a 4 star hotel. It should be given a 3 star.

We stayed in the family room. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. This was the only hotel in Ahmedabad where I could find a room with 2 queen beds.

The location of the hotel was very good. It was near the local shops and restaurants.

The room size was good but the furniture needs an upgrade. The Kettle in the room was broken, the bedsheets were torn at some places. The wardrobe did not close properly. The leather sofa was stained and torn. The coffe cups were cracked from the edges. The air conditioner in the room was very good and the cooling was perfect.

The bathroom fittings were very good. Just the napkins and towels need an upgrade as they were very old and torn from the edges.

The breakfast in the hotel was very good as they had good selection of Indian and western foods.
