Grand opening of Nini's Kitchen, Science city branch! I am grateful to my friend Het Jani and Foodaholics in Ahmedabad® group for providing me with such a great outing. It was my first outing with the foodies of Ahmedabad and this invitation put cherry on top. I was nevous at first, but Rohan Sir and Esha Ma'am made me feel comfortable.
We were invited for the very first tasting at Nini's Kitchen on 23rd December. First things first. Covid protocols are followed properly with precautions. The ambience was as attractive as always with beautiful paintings made on the wall. It was an absolute honour to meet the owner of the restaurant. Also met the head chef of Nini's. He was very friendly and honestly accepted our reviews.
Coming to the food, each and every item tasted delicious and amazing. Creamy Mushroom Soup: Greyish creamy soup with garlic sauted mushrooms and spinach on top. Loved the taste! Watermelon and Fetta Salad: Appearance was mind blowing. Full of textures and flavours imparted in it. Caramelized walnuts, fetta cheese, jalapenos, freshly diced watermelon and garnished with edible flowers. Not a fan of salad, so found it okayish. Beetroot Cutlet with Mango sauce: Freshly fried cutlets with beetroot filling served with mango sauce. Mango sauce really empowered the whole dish. Delicious! Veg. Wontons: Arguably the best dish of the night! Served with red garlic chutney, it was really an excellent combination. I would eat these crispy fried wontons anytime of the year. Three Cheese Bread Pakora: Another winner of the night. Bread pakora consisted of three types of cheese(parmesan, mozzarella and cheddar) and delicious garlic induced filling. Cheese powder was sprinkled on top, which did all the magic. It was served with fried chilli and mango sauce. Crispy Cottage Cheese in Sriracha Sauce: Paneer Chilli in garlic sauce with fresh veggies combined with it. Liked the taste! Afghani Malai Chaap: Soyachaap served in greyish, creamy, thick, garlic sauted gravy. I loved gravy the most among all the other items. Discussed with Chef about Soyachaap as it was a little too chewy. He honestly replied that Soyachaap arrive in cans from North India. Gravy was really amazing and outstanding! Mushroom and Cheese Rissoto: Cooked rice served with rich cheesy sauce. The dish was heavy but one can be satisfied with it. Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese and Almond Crumble: As expected, the appearance is astonishing. Carrot cake was rich with cinammon. Vanilla perfectly balanced the overpowering flavour. Thick caramel sauce, small sphered lemons and caramelized walnuts, all aligned perfectly for this beauty. I didn't try any carrot cake till date. There's no better place than Nini's to taste this dessert. The OG Hot Chocolate: Perfectly liquified dark chocolate. Served fresh and warm! The taste was spot on!
NOTE: Veg. Biryani is the new entrant to the menu. I really want to thank the staff and owner for such great food and...

I was lucky enough to be selected for the premier launch menu for yesterday's dinner at Ninis Kitchen's 5th outlet in Gujarat at Science City Road. First of all, thankyou so much Foodaholics in Ahmedabad® for the opportunity and it was so nice meeting all after a long time!
The ambiance of this branch was so soothing. Especially, the doodle art on the walls and the neon 3D arts with the perfect lighting on the top! One can also easily locate the restaurant which is on the 1st floor of the Satyamev Eminence building, Science City Road.
Personally, I feel that Ninis Kitchen is one such restaurant in Ahmedabad which hardly disappoints anyone with its food and moreover, the taste is consistent over the years. This time, it was a total new menu and I was very much excited to try all the dishes.
Creamy Mushroom Soup - One of the best soups I have ever had. Perfect consistency with the hint of garlic sauted mushrooms! Such a good start to the dinner.
Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad - The combination of watermelon and feta cheese is already perfect and the crunch of walnuts with that sourness of jalapenos also went really well.
Beatroot Peanut Cutlet with Mango Chutney - Loved it. Filling was good and fresh. Chutney was also good.
Veg Wontons - My personal favourite. Will be definitely going there again to try these beauties again. Schezwan sauce was so good🔥
Three Cheese Bread Pakoda - Something unique. Taste was surprisingly good. Cheese powder on top did the magic. Filling was also apt.
Paneer Crispy in Sriracha Sauce - Spicy and perfect crisp texture of the paneer with sauted veggies. Loved it!
Afghani Malai Soya Chaap - Chaap was a bit chewy but as I talked with the chef, he told that chaap comes frozen and it's imported that's why it's a bit chewy texture. But, the highlight was the sauce. Found it better than delhi!
Mushroom & Cheese Risotto - Tough dish to make but Ninis nailed it. Loved it! Must try dish for mushroom lovers.
OG Hot Chocolate - One of the best I town! Must have in winters! Perfect dessert!
Carrot Cake with Almond Crumbles - Again, speciality of Ninis. Hint of Cinnamon was overpowering, I thought but when ate with vanilla ice-cream and other toppings, tasted really good.
Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. Lovely food with lovely people. Thankyou once again...
Read moreThe staff at the Tibetan restaurant were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to guide through unfamiliar dishes was commendable. Additionally, they exhibited a genuine passion for sharing their culture through the food, providing insights into Tibetan traditions and cooking methods. Discuss the value for money and whether the prices align with the quality and portions offered. While the prices at the Tibetan restaurant might be slightly higher compared to standard eateries, the authenticity of the cuisine, generous portions, and quality of ingredients made it a worthwhile dining experience. The value derived from the cultural immersion and gastronomic delight compensated for the pricing.
We ordered Thukpa soup, a traditional Tibetan noodle soup, is a hearty and comforting dish that has gained popularity beyond its cultural roots for its flavourful and nourishing qualities. This soup, often prepared with a rich broth, boasts a harmonious blend of spices, vegetables, and noodles, creating a fulfilling and aromatic experience. The versatility of thukpa allows for variations in ingredients, accommodating diverse preferences and dietary needs, making it a beloved choice for many.
We ordered "Harvest Veg Pizza" I experienced was a delightful combination of fresh, seasonal vegetables atop a well-balanced crust. Its vibrant colors, robust flavors, and healthier profile make it an excellent choice for those craving a satisfying yet lighter pizza option that celebrates the richness of...
