Visited on 31st July 2019. In time for 'Surti Sarasiya Khaja'. 250gm for Rs 80/-. Surprisingly it was quite spicy, but tasty none the less. Sprinkled some lime juice (supplied with the khaja), the taste was even better. Bit oily. The correct name of the store is "Shah Motiram". Store is clean, staff helpful. Wish stores in Gujarat had menu-boards in English/Hindi too - so many tourists from elsewhere.

We have been eating khaja from here for so many years...And the taste is maintained yet. Khaja is the original surati item specially in Monsoons. In this season i came twice and there was heavy rush...one has to stand in a queue...But the delivery is fast...And response to customers is good too. I convey my best wishes to the shopowners & hope they will maintain quality forever.

The best delicacy, Surti Sarasiya Khaja is my top favorite, they are super spicy and I love spicy we usually eat it with some lemon juice and AaamRas, it is the main snack for the Rainy Season. They also have various varieties such as Mango Khaja which is Sweet and Regular Khaja too.

In this season i came twice and there was heavy rush...one has to stand in a queue...But the delivery is fast...And response to customers is good too. CAUTION:: SHOP START SELLING OF KHAJA AFTER 15:00(03:00 PM). So better go around 14:45 at shop. As it has a huge line to get ur KHAJA. One of the oldest shop of sweets in surat. Best place to have Khaja. But be cautious as there is no place for parking and very difficult to find it (if u are not brought up in surat). Around 540rs/kg. U can also have varieties of different other fried items.
