Hotel Suraj Inn — Hotel in Gujarat

Rude staff, especially the guy who said he was manager. ||||I booked a deluxe single room that was meant to have fridge, kettle and somewhere to dry clothes. The fridge and kettle is what I needed as I had been ill and need cold water and also hot water for lemon tea. ||||When I got there I was given budget room that was terrible (the window looked out onto the corridor where at night the staff sat and played music and talked - the bathroom had a vent that people walking past could look in and see you) I asked for kettle and got charged extra 200 rupees. Asked to see manager but was told he would be in next day. ||||So next day I talked with the manager and he said Booking(DOT)com had it wrong and the deluxe room was 1000 rupees more per night and if I didn't like it just leave and take it up with Booking(DOT)com I asked what time breakfast was until and was told 10am so I went to pick up my bag and went to get breakfast at 9.45 and was told I was to late they had put everything away but could pay for room service 100 rupees.||||It seems like they seen a foreigner and thought here is a way to make some quick money,||||STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE SEE MY REVIEW at got to YouTube and search 9zU6BCfunFg jump straight to 35:35...

The hotel is very greedy and unethical. I had booked with them, through a 3rd party aggregator app with 100% payment, 3 months advance of my travel. At the time of booking the hotel had issues with the rate and they sorted it out with the aggregator and had confirmed with me that the booking stands valid. At the day of my travel i again recalled to confirm, but they refused to adhere to the booking and were asking for 3 times the price i had paid for. I was traveling with my parents and a 3 year old son, not knowing where will i stay.

We had a very, very bad experience when we had stayed in this hotel from 15th Oct 2024 to 24th Oct 2024. The room was in a very bad condition and even the bathroom is horrible, There are no windows in the room, therefore no ventilation. The room was very small. Even the drinking water was not given free of cost. They charged us more than 3 times the rate of the room. And without breakfast. No 4 wheeler Parking is available. Even the staff is very rude.
