I recently had the chance to dine at Sale & Pepe - Ristorante Italiano, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

We started with the Alfredo Penne Pasta, and it was definitely the highlight of our meal. The creamy Alfredo sauce was rich and flavorful, with the penne cooked perfectly. It was indulgent but not too heavy, and we both really enjoyed it.

We also tried the Cottage Cheese Pizza, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The crust was nice and crispy, but the cottage cheese didn’t blend well with the other toppings. The overall flavor felt a bit flat, and it wasn’t something I’d choose again.

If you’re into medium spice, the aglio olio pizza is a must-try, and if you’re a spice enthusiast, the diavolo pizza will blow you away! For mushroom lovers, the funghi pizza is just incredible – probably the best I’ve had. Their pizza base is perfectly done, with a delightful crunch and chew. If you’re up for pasta, I highly recommend trying the brown butter gnocchi or ravioli – they’re rich, flavorful, and not spicy at all, perfect if you’re looking for something new. A quick tip: if you’re heading to the Ambawadi location, watch out for the facade – the name board isn’t very visible in the dark. It’s tucked above La Milano Pizzeria on the first floor. Walked into the restaurant. There were no customers. Staff was too busy on their phones. No one bothered to greet me. Staff pointed to a table and I sat down. Another customer came in 15 minutes later. Staff came up to greet them. Within 5 minutes, staff came to take their order. Meanwhile,I was sitting there and no one had come to take my order. Staff walked by me several times to clean windows and whatever else they were doing, but did not take my order.
