I recently visited Shambhu’s Coffee Bar and tried a mix of items from their menu.

Hakka Noodles – The noodles had a good texture, not too oily, and were packed with flavors. However, they could have used a bit more spice and crunch for a perfect Indo-Chinese taste.

Margherita Pizza – A simple yet decent pizza. The cheese was nicely melted, and the base was soft, but the overall taste was slightly bland. A bit more seasoning could have made it better.

Manchurian Dry – The Manchurian balls were crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a flavorful sauce coating. It had a nice balance of spice and tanginess.

Cold Coco – This was the highlight! Thick, rich, and chocolaty, it was refreshing and a great way to end the meal.

Shambu Coffee Bar, located along the Riverfront in Ahmedabad, offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for fast food by the Riverfront. The café features a variety of coffee, south indian, Gujarati, chaat, grilled sandwich, pizza and other street food options. Patrons appreciate the relaxed vibe, making it a great spot for casual meetings or unwinding with friends.

The ambiance is enhanced by scenic views of the river, adding to the overall experience. You can see passing passenger & goods trains crossing the river.

The staff is noted for being friendly and attentive.

A neat place, on the other side of the road of Sabarmati Riverfront. The restaurant is good to visit during the cool part of the day as it can be extremely hot in summer weather or during the day time. The sitting arrangements are outdoor and no air-conditioned enclosures are available which makes it relevant to visit during cooler part of the days, though an overhead cover is available, but which provides little respite from the heat due to concrete structures at the site. It is an ideal place for family outings. Few slides for kids are available in the premises. The menu is slightly on the expensive side. Parking for four wheelers and two wheelers is available nearby.
