What: Sigdi Papad, Afghani Leg, 1000 Rice.
Where: Sigdi Restaurant, Vesu.
Review:
[1] Sigdi Papad: The papad was huge and tasty, but we couldn't even eat half of it, because they bought it after the starters and main course, and it was super spicy but the kind of spicy where you have teary eyes and runny nose yet, you eat it causes it tastes that good.
[2] Afghani Leg: The taste of the actual leg was fantastic. It was medium spicy and had very oil smokey Flavour! But as you can see in the pic that it has too much gravy for a saster and it was super oily as well so despite the actual leg being tasty. We couldn't eat it because of the oil.
[3] 1000 Rice: An experiment which went successful! Two types of rice with a gravy or I should say flavored water because it was that watery and it was really sour as well so, it wasn't of any use but both the rice were lip smacking good the fried rice were really low in spiciness just how they are meant to be while the green ones had a mughlai kind of Flavour that not too spicy.
P. S:
The service is super slow so, you better have time when you go there.

Read moreSigdi restaurant is One of the disgusting, rude and nasty place in the Surat. I was there last week with family and there customer service sucks. waiters were under staff and gives bad attitude and nasty behavior, they dropped the menu on the table and left, no water or any persons came for any help, many other customers got frustrated any left while waiters they didnt care at all and no respect for customer. The restaurant it self is dirty and look like they haven’t cleaned it for while. I saw cockroaches there and the waiter who pickup dirty plates and wipe tables also served food with dirty hands. The people who own this restaurant they don’t realize they are running Dhaba instead of restaurant. They should learn how to run bissness or else closed the restaurant and go back to Street...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in the 2nd floor. You have to take stairs to reach there. The interiors, prices and overall ambience is far better than most places available in the same locality. The food however is fine. It's clean.
I ordered a Chicken Biryani. It has complex recipe but it tasted like mirchi masala tawa pulao. That masala was overbearing and killed the whole biryani. Dear Chef, it was not biryani and it wasn't nice (as a biryani. As tawa pulao, maybe). I recieved an extremely spicy batch and I couldn't gulp down that heat more than a few bites. The restaurant was kind enough to atleast take the dish back and make it less spicy. I don't know how they managed but it's was mellower than before and I could eat it.
The chaas was almost frozen. The mint...
