Disappointing Experience at Sizzi Sizzler, Vadodara – Not Worth the Hype

Visited Sizzi Sizzler, Vadodara on 11 May after checking their menu and reviews online. As foodies who love exploring new places, we were excited to try this one. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the expectations.

Price mismatch: There was a significant difference between the prices listed online and those on the in-house menu.

Corner table despite empty seats: We arrived early when several tables were free, yet were still offered a corner table, leaving us cut off from the main dining area and slowing down our service.

Lingering smoke: The sizzlers produced so much smoke that it filled the entire restaurant, and there seemed to be no effective ventilation to clear it quickly—quite disappointing and uncomfortable.

Average taste, inflated cost: We tried a veg sizzler that tasted just okay. Given the exaggerated pricing, we didn’t feel it was worth spending more to sample other dishes.

Bottom line: The food was mediocre, the pricing felt unjustified, and the dining environment was smoky and isolated. If you plan to visit, be prepared for possible price discrepancies, less-than-ideal seating, slow service, and poor...

This is a really decent joint for sizzlers in Vadodara. Located bang at Urmi crossroad (or Char Rasta) you can't miss this place thanks to the well lit sign. The sizzler options are good and the portions are generous. One order is good enough to serve two - of course that depends on your appetite. The down side - for those looking for non-vegetarian sadly no choices here. As is common with all eateries all over the state of Gujarat - no alcohol served here. I think they would do well to include non-vegetarian options to appeal to a broader section of foodies. The service is quick and the guy who took our order advised against ordering more as he felt 3 orders would be enough to serve a group of 8 that also included kids. So we did not waste any food.
