It's been a while since I have been to such a great place, though it is hard to find and first impression is not that Instagram worthy for today's generation but for me The Vegan Kitchen truly lives up to its name — a delightful haven for plant-based food lovers. We tried a variety of dishes and were thoroughly impressed by the creativity chef Darshak bhai. I never imagined vegan food can taste so good, let's take a quick breakdown of what we had:
Jalapeño Cheese Popper Pizza: A bold, spicy twist on a classic — melty, creamy vegan cheese with just the right portion of jalapeno. A must-try for spice lovers! A solid 5 out 5
Broccoli Almond Soup: Simple yet elegant, it actually tasted like broccoli unlike many other places a 3 out 5.
Jacket Cheese Potato: Comfort food at its finest — hearty, warm, and wonderfully cheesy without any dairy in sight. A 4 out of 5.
Oriental Grilled Tofu & Mushroom: the sauce was not overpowering and the tofu had left it's bitterness yet remaind crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. A solid 5 out of 5.
Spicy Ramen Bowl: vegan eggs like truly vegan eggs and spicy broth with perfectly cooked noodles and toppings what more can you ask for a straight 5 out of 5.
Lebanese Platter: good you can never go wrong with it, a choice for someone who has a hard time deciding from the menu a truly 3 out of 5.
Basil Mozzarella Tomato (B.M.T): another classic with basil, Tomato and vegan cheese with sourdough bread. A 3 out of 5.
Creamy Mushroom Stroganoff: best dish according to me, a perfectly balanced garlic, black pepper and vegan cheese with mushroom pasta, a true blessing in disguise. A solid 5 out of 5.
Ginger Beer: it was a bit different more like ginger fizz.
The entrance can be deceiving as it's not appealing while the ambience is simple yet has that friends bar kind of vibe but with less crowd and the staff were friendly even the dogs, Yes there are dogs here, great companions always minding their own business and the chief darshak bhai hats off to him, if you have any doubt feel free to talk to him. The place has PS5 and a pool table for entertainment making it a perfect hangout space, Whether you're vegan or just exploring, The Vegan Kitchen offers a delicious and satisfying experience without compromise. Highly...

The dog was walking around the place and the manager and the people who served food to me were playing with the dog. They didn't touch the dog until after they served me the food. I don't have a way to tell if they touched the dog before. Else, I would never have sat down to eat.
Being a vegan, I don't have anything personal against strays or any animals. But definitely a hygiene concern when the servers and the billing managers are touching it.
Food tasted great. No complains there.
The table and chairs were not very clean provided the amount they charge for some simple dishes.
I was super excited to try out an all-vegan restaurant in Ahmedabad as we never had one growing up.
If you are a germophobe like me, would definitely...
