Title: A Delightful Oriental Culinary Experience!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Review: I recently visited Tim Tim for a Mother's Day dinner, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! This restaurant truly knows how to satisfy your taste buds with their delicious Chinese DIY hot pot.

The moment we started cooking our own hot pot, the aromas wafting through the air made our mouths water. The ingredients provided were fresh and of excellent quality. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, leaving us craving for more.

Apart from the hot pot, we also ordered the assorted sushi platter and Dim Sums platter. The sushi was expertly crafted, with each bite bursting with flavors. The variety of Dim Sums available was impressive, and each piece was a true delight. It was evident that the chefs at Tim Tim pay great attention to detail when it comes to their presentation and taste.

To complement our meal, we tried their Kombucha variety, and it turned out to be the perfect fit for our dinner. The refreshing and slightly tangy taste of the Kombucha enhanced our dining experience even more.

One aspect that truly stood out about Tim Tim is their commitment to vegetarian options. As a vegetarian myself, it can sometimes be challenging to find a place that offers a wide range of veg-oriented cuisine. However, Tim Tim goes above and beyond in this regard. Their menu boasts a vast selection of delectable vegetarian dishes, making it an excellent destination for veggie lovers.

The service at Tim Tim was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer recommendations and cater to our needs. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a memorable dining experience.

I highly recommend Tim Tim to anyone looking to explore Oriental cuisine. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply want to try out some fantastic dishes, this restaurant will not disappoint. From the tantalizing hot pot to the delightful sushi and Dim Sums, every bite at Tim Tim is a journey of flavors that will leave you satisfied and craving for more. Make sure to visit this go-to place for an unforgettable dining experience!

TimTim: A Culinary Journey Across Asia - Five Stars!

From the moment we stepped into TimTim, we were transported! The ambience is absolutely stunning, truly capturing the essence of a bustling eatery in Japan or Korea. The meticulous attention to detail in the decor created an immersive experience that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. But let's talk about the food – a symphony of flavors that spanned the best of China, Japan, Korea, and India.

We started with their vibrant Sangrias and the intriguing "Not a Colada," both refreshing and perfectly balanced. The Chinese Dumpling Soup was a warm, comforting hug in a bowl, with delicate dumplings swimming in a rich, savory broth. The Tofu Bao were fluffy and bursting with flavor, and my niece’s favourite Tteokbokki was a delightful treat.

The Ramen Bowls were a masterclass in umami, with perfectly cooked noodles and a deeply satisfying broth. Each slurp was a delight. Moving onto the Indian selection, the Tandoori Platter was a feast. The Nargis Kofta Curry was rich and creamy, with beautifully crafted koftas that melted in our mouths. And the Dal Makhni Fondu? Simply divine – a creamy, buttery indulgence that elevated the classic dish to new heights. It's rare to find an Asian fusion restaurant that nails every cuisine, but TimTim exceeded all expectations, even the Indian dishes were absolutely phenomenal.

The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our server was happy to answer questions and offer recommendations, making our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. The staff's genuine enthusiasm for the food and the restaurant's concept truly shone through.

TimTim is a culinary gem that deserves all the accolades. If you're looking for an authentic Asian dining experience that takes you on a flavorful journey across multiple cultures, look no further. We cannot recommend TimTim highly enough – it's...

I had been there a couple of weeks ago. One of the worst places that I have visited in my life. It boasts of being a Korean, Japanese and Chinese restaurant. It has many dishes to select from. However, the staff and the management are just pathetic. Once I reached there and sat in 5 mins the waiter came and asked me to order. When I requested some time to study the menu for me to order he clearly said

" sir jaldi kijiye we have other customers to serve"

There was only one couple apart from me in the entire restaurant.

We ordered, and when the food came within 10-12 mins the waiter again came and asked us whether we want to order something. I said no we are good. He asked me if can I clear your table? We were eating.

I asked him to give us some space and time to eat our food in peace he said

"Sir Sunday hai aap aise baith ke baat nahi kar sakte hume upar se order hai"

I asked him are you asking me to go?

He clearly said

" Idhar baith ke baat nahi kar sakte khana khake aapko yaha se jana padega"

I was shocked. Further, it was only 30 mins since I had arrived. In those 30 mins approximately 10-12 minutes were waiting time for the order.

Further, 5 mins after that the waiter literally came and started to collect our dishes even though my friend was still eating.

I hope management and the staff changes their attitude or at least people after reading this will stop going there altogether.

Coming to the food quality I had ordered a Sichuan curry and fried rice. Both were above average in quality and reasonable in quantity. The vurry however, was too salty for me.

Coming to the price part, it is too costly and just not worth it.

The ambience is average and gets really noisy when it becomes full. Better acoustic design is needed.

Staff has zero courtesy.

Overall I would never recommend this...

Few meals remain etched in your memory not just because of the taste but because of good service, good interaction about food with the restaurant owner, good ambiance and of course the good company. The evening at Tim Tim was one such joy ride. Japanese seating arrangement under the stars made it one of the nicest experiences in Ahmedabad. Coming to the food, the co-owner of the place, Shruti, helped us with all their favourites and we were quick to order Asparagus Tempura Uramaki, Veg Crystal Dimsums, Asian Corn Pillows with Black Pepper Sauce and a customised set of Mushroom Cheese Bao Bun and Firecracker Cottage Cheese Bao Bun. For the main course Shruti suggested us to go for Kung Pao Bowl. Kung Pao Bowl being the star of the evening was a perfect medley of sticky rice with exotic veggies (why does best dishes are always left without being clicked is beyond my understanding and my flaw I need to correct 😝). The curry was balanced to the T and though we were full after eating our starters we couod not stop ourselves from cleaning up the bowl clean. Asparagus Tempura Uramaki was really good. A lot of places in Ahmedabad has started serving Sushi but the 3-4 places I have tried, Tim Tim serves the best. Crystal Dumplings with Chili oil did hit the right chords but Asian Corn Pillows were bland when eaten alone by itself. Paired it with Black Pepper Sauce it came with, it did elevate the flavour. Our feedback was heard with aplomb and I hope it is acted upon too. Friend of mine and I are absolute lovers of Baos and when we requested for an assortment, we were told to go for Bao Buns. Each of the Baos mentioned above came piping hot straight from the steamer just like as it should be. Special mention to their Kimchi. Tasted delicious. All in all, with a few minor mishits like cutlery, Tim Tim should be hitting the ball out of the park in Ahmedabad with quite ease.

I had heard a lot about Tim Tim and finally had the fortune of visiting last month. To begin with, the ambience and seating were superb — stylish yet cozy. The staff were quick, welcoming, and especially friendly when guiding us through the hotpot experience, which made the evening even better. Service: 10/10. Now, onto the culinary journey: Tom Kha Soup (5/5): A heartwarming start, with authentic Thai flavors that hit all the right notes. Sangria (3/5): Tried it for the first time; refreshing but not particularly memorable. Kombucha Lemongrass (2/5): This leaned more towards a fermented ale profile than a true kombucha — not my favorite. Wholesome Dimsum Basket (5/5): A delightful mix of flavors — mushroom cheese, exotic vegetables, corn, spinach, and tofu. Each dimsum had its own character. A must-try! Japanese Live Hot Pot (4/5): The main attraction, perfect for sharing among four people. Flavorful and fun, though slightly overshadowed by other dishes. Bibimbap Stone Bowl (5/5): Spicy, flavorful, and absolutely stole the show — the true star of the night. Mongolian Mushroom & Tofu Stone Bowl (5/5): Rich shiitake mushrooms with silky tofu — a beautifully balanced dish. Overall: Tim Tim delivers an almost authentic Asian dining experience with great service and standout dishes. Highly recommended for those looking to explore bold flavors in a welcoming setting.
