After Stories in Sector 29 Gurgaon — Restaurant in Gurugram District

With a rustic feel to it, After Stories is located away from the hustle bustle of the market at a beautiful location in Sec 29, Gurgaon, right next to the IFFCO chowk metro station. The space is designed in a progressive way that brings in a touch of finesse and makes you comfortable at the same time. This is where every story gets an After Story. From butter chicken to bruschetta, they’ve got it all. Their wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes will satiate your hunger and please your taste buds. They also have a special menu where everything is of Rs 99/- ++ only.

The bar is fully functional and they have all kinds of beer available with them; Wheat beer, flavored beers, fresh brew beers, domestic beers, imported beers, name it and they have it. They are the best brewery in all of Gurgaon for a reason. One of the best options are Apple Cider and Milk Stout. They’ve happy hours everyday. Get a 1+1 offer on freshly brewed beer and IMFL between 12-7 PM on all days of the week.

• They are also about to launch their detox drinks. Now, detox drinks are really refreshing and healthy. The use of natural ingredients like fresh fruits and vegetables hits you like a large wave of refreshment. • These drinks are also really heavy because of the pulp hence they will keep your appetite filled. These vibrant looking beautiful drinks aren’t only pleasing to the eyes but to the taste buds as well.

• CHICKEN SHISH TAOUK – This beauty from the middle east was cooked in such a way that I was left with licking my fingers after I gorged on these huge 4 pieces of succulent chicken. Lemon and garlic complimented the delicious marination and the result? A burst of flavors in my mouth!!

• TAWA MEAT BHUNA MASALA – The meat cooked in it’s own juices and spicy tomato and onion gravy with ground spices added to it giving it a deep flavor. Served with crunchy flat bread, this dish was THE BOMB!

• VEGETARIAN PLATTER – This Vegetarian platter from has everything one asks for. Achari paneer tikka with roasted papad crust, Peri Peri Spring rolls, Falafel with pita bread and hummus , crispy corn, cottage cheese fingers and Dahi stuffed palak kebab. Pair this platter up with their refreshing detox drinks and the mood sets right for a beautiful evening. You could order these dishes individually as well and you should definitely go for the Dahi stuffed palak kebabs.

This place makes way for a relaxed yet ecstatic experience where you can let yourself loose and live the moment to the fullest. Everybody has its own story and sometimes, few stories bind you forever. But can a restaurant have stories? What going to happen AFTER STORIES narrated by restaurant itself?

Brand – A quite popular brand for every age group. They have everything to pull you up to their doorstep.

History – It has not been a long time but still they are little older player in food market of gurugram.

Location – It is in sec 29 of gurugram. Nearest metro station is IFFCO chowk.

Ambience – Huge seating area acquired by them. They have got 4 sections comprising of outside seating, basement, Ground floor and first floor. Each section has more than 50 people seating or more than this. So in total, they have huge capacity to organize parties and all. Basement is a bar and lounge. GF was looking good for families. I did not stay much at first floor so can’t give you much about that. Outside seating was also cool place. They have put sign of Pens as a signature. Few items from 90’s were there to remind some older days. Seating was comfortable. We got space at basement which got dim lighting area but to give you relaxation with music. They also have ladies night and live music events. Live screening of matches are also available.

Food from Menu – They serve North Indian, European, Continental cuisine in both veg and non-veg section. Bar option for drink lovers which have sections in both Mocktails and cocktails.

Hygienic – Yes, they serve 100% hygienic food.

Staff and service – Staff was courteous and humble. Service was quick and responsive. Every order was on the table within minutes. So, full marks to them for this. They all were dressed up nicely.

People Response and crowd – They gave already got popularity for this and they always believe in good service.

Taste – I do not compromise on this section while visiting any place. This is always been a key for success even if all other criteria are not up to the mark. I tried here Crispy Baby Potato , Achari Paneer tikka, Crispy Aloo Sabudaana , Manchurian Gravy with crispy Fried rice, Malai Kofta Cashew Gravy, Daal Makhni. In drink I took virgin mojito and green red bull. In the end I also had rose velvet shake which was the show stopper of the day but other items were also competitive. Taste is one of best in town and you will say same thing after your visit.

Price – Prices are moderate and within your pocket and can be easily spent for this special place.

Opinion – You should not miss this happening place and one of the best places...

Sector 29 in Gurgaon has a lot of different eateries competing for customers in it's famous Leisure Valley area. But right next to the IFFCO Chowk meteo station is a place called After Stories.

After Stories is a massive property with 3 floors of dining space (what was visible to me, could be more) and outdoors seating as well. The place is very well lit with natural light and some parts are dark enough for a party vibe. The music there is just perfect during the day, when I went. They play a selection of covers and remixes that add to your dining experience.

A shoutout to the service at After Stories too. The servers there are friendly and are always serving you with a smile. They know what the specials are and are nice enough to recommend dishes which we would like.

After the recommendation of the staff, we went for the Tandoori Chicken Popcorn, Chili Cheese Garlic Bread and the Maggi Smoked Mushroom Ragout. All the dishes came right on time and were beautifully presented. The portions were great as well!

• Chili Cheese Garlic Bread: Crisp slices of garlic bread topped with loads of cheese, red chilli flakes and fresh green chilies. Damn! The cheese was gooey and stretchy which made it fun to eat! Very tasty.

• Tandoori Chicken Popcorn: This is truly the best of restaurant style and fast food style chicken. Bits and chunks of Tandoori Chicken battered and fried. Served along side a wedge of lemon, mint chutney and chilli ketchup. Great poppers of flavour!

• Maggi Smoked Mushroom Ragout: This dish was something I had not tried ever. Cooked maggi, shallow fried till the outsides were crisp, topped with Mushroom Ragout and cheese poppers. A heavy, filling, meaty dish!

Overall, After Stories was the perfect place for a lunch with friends. And I'm sure you could get your family here for a good filling meal too! Can't wait to try some more...
