A Weekend Brunch Delight at Bikanerwala

Looking for a delicious and satisfying weekend brunch, I ventured to Bikanerwala in Sector 85, New Gurgaon. The restaurant offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning.

My exploration of their menu began with a sweet indulgence – the Kesar Ghujia. These golden fried pastries were filled with a fragrant and rich kesar (saffron) filling, offering a delightful burst of sweetness to start the meal. Next up was the ever-so-satisfying dal kachori. The crisp exterior gave way to a flavorful and comforting lentil filling, a true classic.

For the main course, I opted for the Puri Aloo Sabzi Platter. The fluffy puris were perfect for scooping up the generously portioned aloo sabzi, a hearty potato curry bursting with fragrant spices. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and flavors.

No Indian brunch is complete without some sweet indulgence, and Bikanerwala's rasagulla did not disappoint. These spongy dumplings, soaked in a sweet and syrupy milk base, were the perfect way to end the meal on a light and refreshing note.

The service at Bikanerwala was friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive and ensured my dining experience was enjoyable. Overall, my brunch experience at Bikanerwala was a true delight. It's a fantastic option for anyone seeking a delicious and authentic Indian vegetarian spread in a comfortable setting. I highly recommend...

Dear Bikanerwala Management,

I am writing this with extreme disappointment regarding my recent visit to your Sector 86, Gurgaon outlet.

I ordered Chilli Paneer with Fried Rice and 1 Chhole Bhature. After finishing the chhole in my bowl, I requested a little more. Shockingly, your staff bluntly told me that chhole are chargeable.

This is not just unprofessional, it is highly insulting to a paying customer. If a customer has already ordered bhature, how can you even think of charging extra for the essential chhole? Either serve the dish properly, or don’t keep it on the menu at all. Such practices clearly show disrespect towards your customers.

Frankly, even roadside food vendors treat their customers better – no matter how many times you ask for chhole with bhature, they never refuse. It is a shame that a reputed brand like Bikanerwala is showing less hospitality than a roadside stall.

I have been a regular customer at multiple Bikanerwala outlets across Delhi NCR – Gurgaon (JMD Mall, Sector 109, Sector 54) and Delhi (Saket, Nehru Place) – and not once have I faced such behavior. This is the first time I have experienced such a shocking incident, and it has completely ruined the trust I had in your brand.

I I am seriously considering posting this experience on social media platforms and consumer forums so that other customers are aware of such poor...

One of the most sadistic place!!

The restaurant creates a rather disheartening atmosphere upon entry. While the ambiance initially seems welcoming, the counter staff's consistently sadistic facial expressions and lack of smiles leave much to be desired. It appears they may not be adequately trained or are under considerable pressure, as evidenced by their rude replies when asked questions.

A significant drawback is the presence of multiple billing counters, causing confusion. During one visit, I inadvertently left my items at the counter, and the staff failed to notify or call me back. This further contributed to the negative experience with the seemingly indifferent staff.

The excessive sweetness in the desserts becomes overwhelming, diminishing the overall taste experience. In comparison to competitors like Haldiram, the restaurant's food is only average. The consistently sparse customer turnout may be attributed to the mediocre food quality.

On a positive note, the restaurant does offer a cozy ambiance, which stands out as its sole...

Food quality has gone pathetic drastically. This is the quality of nuts being used as topping of cake. Just think about the other ingredients being used. When reported to management, they say that this is nothing new to them and this is the best quality of nuts they use in all their foods. And they were not even bothered if the click is posted publically. One can easily figure out that the nuts have holes and webs caused due to nut worm. They say that it had been roasted so no issues at all. It seems they may use drain water and boil it to consume it. This is the mindset and quality they are serving and we say it a brand 'Bikanerwala'. One can easily compare the quality with roadside food hawkers or may be not even that. They are serving stale and cheap quality food in well managed ambience.

I recently visited Bikanerwala and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The food quality is excellent, with a wide variety of delicious sweets and snacks that truly capture the essence of Indian cuisine. The ambiance is welcoming and the seating area is comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. However, I did notice that the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and the wait times were longer than expected. A more efficient and attentive service would greatly enhance the dining experience. Despite this, I would still recommend Bikanerwala for its tasty food and vibrant atmosphere. With a little improvement in service, it could easily become a top-notch dining destination.
