Sector 85 Social — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Pathetic experience at Social sector 85 Gurgaon. The food is simply bland as we did not order any alcoholic beverages we were able to identify the tastes. We ordered classic chicken momos, smokey white chicken pizza and some pita bread platter, along with non alcoholic beverages inclusive of salted fresh lime soda, which only had soda and lime and no salt, we had to ask for salt and then they mentioned oh we did not add salt as we do not know how much the customer wants. If I have to make my own drink why would I go out at a restaurant. .. My mum cannot have chilly so we asked the restaurant to not put chilly in the food...

But i guess the chef of the restaurant doesn't know any spices other than chilly... The food was bland, without any salt, and explanation was given that mozzarella cheese is salty, mayo is salty, even with that added, we had to ask for salt to be added over the top.

Even the staff there was unable to understand and was debating that salt is added but less, where in the world is a pizza not salty or stuffing inside the momos not salty? I guess in Socail in sector 85 Gurugram.

There is no option in Google for a negative review. Hence giving one.

Now coming to billing I had paid via their online system 924 Rupees and post that the waiter brings another bill stating that I have to pay 1328 rupees more, as their staff had not punched the correct amount of my order.

Overall it was not worth going there especially if you do not drink alcohol. As food is not...

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Zero Stars if Possible!

We ordered Kimchi Momo Ramen (VEGETARIAN) and what did this irresponsible restaurant send? NIHARI MUTTON RAMEN!

This is not just a “wrong order” – this is criminal negligence. You sent non-veg food to a strictly vegetarian household. Do you have ANY idea how serious and offensive this is?

ZERO sense of responsibility.

ZERO basic respect for dietary choices.

ZERO care for customer safety.

We have our own religious restrictions, and receiving non-vegetarian food in a Hindu household is deeply offensive. This does not look like a mere mistake — it comes across as a deliberate attempt to send non-veg food where it is strictly prohibited. It almost feels as if some notorious and anti-social element planned this with the disgraceful thought of trying to “corrupt” a Hindu family’s beliefs. This has definitely hurt our religious sentiments.

We trusted you with our meal, and you violated that trust in the worst way possible.

Ambience of the place is good, you can see a number of different seating options like chair, sofas, swing+ chairs, swings only, cozy enclosed area & open seating as well. The only downside is that the place is not lit well but it's the theme they must have chosen. Food can be ordered by scanning the QR code tagged with the table you are sitting. I didn't like the food menu as I could not find a lot variety in the food options. Also, you would not find proper description of the ingredients mentioned against food items. As the place is more focused to attract drinkers so the menu is crafted on the same strategy. I visited on the weekend with family, staff was giving complementary beer to people who answered correctly to the questions related to IPL. Funny part was that even if the person was non-drinker, still they were giving beer only & didn't change it with a micktail drink. That again emphasize that their marketing strategy is to attract people with drinking habits only. Taste wise also food was not that great, specially pizza was pathetic & was not even cut in pieces. Didn't have a pleasant experience & "Social 85" is definitely out of weekend outing...
