Monu Jain Kachori Wala — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I took aloo kachori for 50 rupees. It had two kachoris having urad daal, salt, chilli (mirch), coriander (dhaniya), kasuri methi. The aloo sabji had heeng coriander seeds (dhaniya beej), coriander (dhaniya), chilli, sounf (fennel seeds), garam masala, naubahar chutney, Fenugreek chutney (methi chutney), dry mango powder (aamchoor), dry ginger (sounth), tomato (tamatar),yogurt (dahi), green chilli (Hari mirch), Ginger (adrak), Since it's Jain, it doesn't have Garlic (Lehsun) and Onion (pyaaj). I had previously eaten at Jung Bahadur Kachori wala (JBKW) in paranthe wali gali, Chandni Chowk. But I found Monu's kachori to be more tasty and also it had less amount of chilli as compared to Jung Bahadur. The jostling crowd holds to its taste. Sadly I did not had good experience when I tried first time. I was very hopeful and excited looking at the existing reviews. I ordered Kachori and Bread pakora. The Kachori was fine, nothing special, but the Aloo sabji was too spicy for my taste buds. Further the subji was simple nothing special about it. The bread pakora was also very ordinary, at par with what we make at home, that too without any chutni.

The rush and demand at the shop was intriguing though. Took me 15 mins in the line to order as people were ordering 5,8,10 plates of kachori and puri sabji. Anyways I am a believer of second chances, so will try once more some other day. The owner 'Monu' was humble and nice guy though, unlike other successful owners who are...

Went today to taste their bedmi poori alloo as i have heard alot about them and the area they are located in is very crowded in day times so i went to this shop at 8am tried their poori aaloo trust its all hyped bedmi poori was so so hard to chew and alloo sabji was only liquid no thick gravy taste was ok not very great also the location is in jaicubpura where you cant go on car so it has to be a public vehicle and there is no sitting space u have to stand on road and eat it the conclusion is gurgaon has no old food joint like old delhi I specially went there to eat the authentic bedmi poori and i was disappointed...
