I changed my review from 5 stars to 1 . I have visited this place 4 times. The first time the food was good but slow service. I still had a good time and reviewed 5 stars on Google. The next time was great too. The third time we were not much hungry and went for just snacks. The waiter was persistent and kept us asking for main course. They usually serve warm water and lemon but they did not probably because we ordered less. We didn't mind that to be honest. The fourth time I took my employees, it was the worst experience. They work hard and live their lives with pride and honesty. The staff did not serve us well because my guest were not in expensive clothes? No welcome drink was served whereas it was served on every other table. I had to ask for it. We ordered food and yet again the waiter ( probably the cook as he wore a chef hat , as they are heavily under staffed) No onions and chutney was served with the food . I had to again ask for it. 5 glasses for 7 people with no water . I had to ask for it. He brought the regular water which was about a bottle of about 1L for 7 people. Then the waiter brought the glasses , just the glasses no water again. We asked for tissues and he came back with 4 tissues for 7 people. We had to ask for tissues thrice. When we had finshed our foods and we asked for hot water and lemon. The water was too less that I could barely dip my nails. After that we needed tissues and one of my employees started picking tissues from the empty adjacent table. One another waiter very rudely dismissed him and said ruko mai laa raha hu, he came back with two tissues. How does the appearance of one person give you the right to deny him the service he is paying for. When we saw the bill we were shocked We had given our Zomato gold visit but it was not applied on the bill. We had to ask for it. Why were there waiters if you have to ask for everything. After the Zomato gold was applied We asked them to remove the service charge as we hated the service and the cashier said sir aap bill hi mat do na. He was very rude. His name is Deepak according to the bill. I will be forwarding this review to all my whatsapp groups as many of my relatives visit sasuraal but not any more. My bill...
Read moreThis is about an engagement ceremony experience we hosted at Sasural on 10 Aug'22, at New colony Gurgaon branch . I raised my concern to the owner, however there was no reply for more than 24 hrs. It was so disappointing that it made me write it on social media.
It may be just another event for them where they can fool customers and earn. But hope they realise, it was the only event for which we save for years and have expectations from. No point you cheat your customers like this.
1.The curries they made us taste before was absolutely different than what they served in actual. The food we tasted was much better than what it was served actually. 2.They charged 5000 for a fruit cake, however they did not provide the flavour they promised, neither the color of the cake. Cake tasted as if simple bread from inside. 3.They promised a background stage with fresh flower and charged 7000 for it, however it was all old dirty artificial flower provided and some fresh Marie gold (Genda phool) in the name of fresh flower. 4.Crockery used were dirty. Glasses had stains. Multiple complaints received from guests. 5.Gulab jamun was so hard from inside and was made of poor oil. It tasted bad. Shahi tukda provided was absolutely soggy. 6.Washrooms were so dirty on the floor. It did not have water for almost half an hour. AC was not at all effective, as the floor did not have a closed gate. This I consider as our fault as we did not realise it before. Help me understand how come Mushroom dopyaza and Paneer adraki taste absolutely same? 9.We decided to serve watermelon mohito, and aam panna, we were told both not available. We were served cold drinks and red colored nimbu pani. Needless to say there is no instant power backup at the venue. For electricity cut offs, the floor would become dark. You gotta wait for 5 minutes until they switch on the genset. Also the venue was not ready as promised within time. Our ceremony was delayed...
Read moreA Gloomy Night Out or a Scene from Stree?
We recently visited this restaurant, and let me tell you, the ambiance gave off major Stree vibes—like a gloomy, low-budget horror movie set. But hey, we were hungry, so we stayed. My wife and I were fasting for Navratri, so we ordered the Navratri thali, while my dad and daughter opted for kofta curry and naan. Simple, right?
Fast forward 40 minutes, and no sign of food. We politely asked the waiter about our order. He smiled and said, "Two minutes." Ten minutes later, he came back with the brilliant suggestion, "Would you like to change your order?" Apparently, they were swamped with Navratri thali orders, and ours would take another 30 minutes. That’s some VIP thali service right there!
Curious, we asked why this wasn’t mentioned when we ordered. He had no answer—classic. So, we summoned the manager, who, in true horror movie fashion, took his time to appear. When he finally arrived, he seemed just as confused as we were. He casually mentioned, "Oh, your food will be ready in 10 minutes."
Well, after waiting for over an hour with no food and zero hope, we decided to leave. Who needs dinner when you can feast on disappointment, right?
Honestly, it felt like we were in the middle of a suspense thriller—will the food ever arrive? Who knows. Stay tuned for the sequel: "A...
