Unplugged Courtyard has always been touted as one of the most beautiful cafe in CP and taking the baton forward is its Udyog Vihar counterpart. Whenever we are in Gurgaon, we end up being in Cyberhub, but in a bid to try something new, we planned to visit this place which has been built in the midst of an industrial haven.

UC has different sections with each competing with the other for the taking your breath away with its beauty. Their gorgeous secret garden, beautiful cabanas and an equally beautiful indoor seating makes it hard to believe how such a place even exist around all the ugly industries. Though they could have added some more electric heaters considering the severely cold weather Delhi NCR is facing these days.

Being a chilling evening, we thought of starting with a piping hot “Veg Manchow Soup” which actually gave in much required heat to our body. The manchow soup was full of vegetables and fried noodles and taste wise simply one of the best that I’ve had in the recent times. Post that we ordered “Paneer Chutney Rolls” which basically were rolls with thick sheets of paneer as outer covering filled again with paneer and some dry fruits. The rolls were a bit sweet in taste and could have been a little better. Though Paneer lovers would definitely love these rolls.

Moving forward, we ordered their “Mushroom Galouti” which were very soft and simply melt in mouth stuff. The ulta tawa paranthas accompanying them were a bit difficult to eat but complemented the kebabs pretty well. We also ordered “Veg Dimsum” which were quite good as the filling was great and the outer covering was very thin and steamed nicely. One of their signature dishes “Tandoori Samosas” were quite different though a bit bland as they were filled with cottage cheese instead of potatoes and somewhat bought the taste a bit down.

The drinks accompanying our meal were “Oreo Shake” & “Butterscotch & Mango Shake”. The shakes had a lot of whipped cream topped on it which even made them overflow, but who’s complaining? The oreo shake was a bit off but the butterscotch and mango shake despite being an unusual combination, tasted very good and very addictive. The service was quite good and we were welcomed very nicely and the place being so huge, they showed us the place around for choosing the table of our choice. The wait time though was considerable considering the fact that there was a private party going on in one corner.

Overall, Unplugged Courtyard offers a fairly decent food and drinks options to look forward to and a spellbinding ambience simply makes this place a must visit if you happen to...

They have a spacious, ornately and classily done interior of around 5-6K sq ft space with a huge bar counter one side and plush, comfy seating all over for you to sit and relax. Soft music plays during day time which we are sure the decibels go few notches high in the evenings since it has proper DJ console, well set band and the works! First floor has alfresco open-air canopy kind of seating with lot of green foliage all around to give you a garden type feeling. Its nice to sit on terrace and soak in sun light during winters! They have kept a proper eye and done up the entire place in a classy way so you get that feel of fine sit down diner with Pubbing atmosphere!

Their food is too good to say the least. You get some of the best North Indian, Continental, street food with fancy touch, Pan Asian and some of the yummiest desserts! They have the fine eye for details so food curation comes out classy along with trendy plating which pleases your eye the moment it comes and greets you on your table. Their cocktails are another revelation. They mix it well and nice and how! Don’t miss the Old Fashioned which I Thought was honed to perfection! They also have a craft brewery in house so they brew their beers in house. So do taste some of the finest frothy if you are in mood for it.

UC Gurgaon is a classic sit-down diner if you are in mood for leisurely time that’s not plug and play. So, it is aptly christened as UNPLUGGED...

This weekend me and my friends were planning to visit a good open air restaurant in Gurgaon and while browsing across the web, I came across this amazing newly opened place named "Unplugged" by Courtyard. This cool new place is located in Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon and it is very nearby from the city center, NH8 and DLF CyberHub. After a soothing weekend drive we reached there and started the food journey. After visiting the restaurant we were welcomed by its natural outdoor scenic views and the sitting arrangements were also done adequately, which made the visit complete. Post going through their unique menu we decided to order a complete brunch buffet on that bright saturday afternoon. Our order included a variety of starters, main course accompanied by some awesome desserts. I really liked the starters as they comprised a wide array of snack items and it included: Cheese Rolls, Stuffed Soya Chaap and Tandoori Samosa. The main course included all time favourite: Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Paneer and breads. It was super wholesome and tasted so delicious. I very much liked Churros and Cheese Cake clubbed with Vanilla Scoops as they proved to be best meal finisher. All in all it's a great place to visit to enjoy some good foodie time on a bright sunny day or soothing evening. Enjoyed being there and I'd a great foodie time, looking forward to my...
