Decent Ambience but Disappointing Parking and Crowded Dining Experience
We recently visited the Radisson Hotel Gurugram for dinner and had booked the buffet through the Easy Diner app. While the booking process was smooth, our overall experience left much to be desired, starting with the parking situation. The hotel’s parking facility is quite poorly managed. There was no staff present to guide us on where to park, leaving us to navigate the parking area on our own. This created confusion and added unnecessary stress right from the beginning of our visit.
Moving on to the ambience, the hotel itself is quite clean and presents a nice, inviting vibe. The interior is well-maintained, and the restaurant area, at first glance, appeared to offer a pleasant atmosphere. However, the dining experience was marred by the overwhelming crowd. Even though it wasn’t a weekend, the restaurant was excessively crowded, and the noise level was quite high. This made it difficult to have a normal conversation at our table, which significantly impacted the enjoyment of the meal.
As for the food, it was okay—nothing exceptional. The buffet had a decent variety, but the quality did not match our expectations for a hotel of Radisson’s standard. I wouldn’t say the food was bad, but it certainly wasn’t great either. For the price, we expected a more refined culinary experience.
One redeeming factor was the ambience—the restaurant, despite the crowd, had a good overall vibe, and the cleanliness and decor contributed to a comfortable setting. That said, the noise and crowding took away from the peaceful dining atmosphere that one would expect, especially on a weekday.
In conclusion, while the ambience and general vibe of Radisson Hotel Gurugram are decent, the parking issues, crowded atmosphere, and only average food quality make it hard to recommend this restaurant for dinner. If you happen to find the place quieter and more peaceful on a weekday, it could serve as a good spot for lunch or dinner. However, based on our experience, it’s not the most ideal choice for a relaxed dining outing, especially if you value a tranquil...
Read moreI hosted an event at Radisson Udyog Vihar Cafe NH 48, and it turned out to be a big disappointment. Service: Despite the manager "Simran" promising to stay during the function to oversee the arrangements, but she went missing during the entire event, when asked from other staff they started making excuses that she's in a meeting or having lunch, she came at the end just to collect the payment with a lie saying she had pain in wisdom tooth in contrary with staff statement. Throughout the vent, the service was pathetic. There were no starters available on the buffet, and when we asked for starters to be served at the table, they barely brought 3–5 pieces for a table of around 15 people. When we asked for more they said " madam kitchen se kaccha laa k pakda de kya" in a very rude tone, If you know you are hosting a good amount of people you should atleast keep the items prepared and shouldn't wait for last moment. Used plates and glasses kept piling up on tables, and even after repeatedly asking, the staff didn’t bother to clear them or provide fresh ones even at the counter, we had to wait for 15 mins just to get the bowls and even after that they had the audacity to say that we'll wind up everything by 3. What did we paid for ?waiting for food and cutlery? Ambience: The cafe has poor lighting and an uncomfortable seating arrangement, which made the overall experience even worse. Payment & Discount Issue: We had planned to use an EazyDiner discount, but at the end they denied it, claiming the “time was out.” If that was the case, they should have informed us before the event began. Instead they started asking for payment in mid of the event. After a heated argument, they finally agreed to apply the discount, but it felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating and embarrassing in front of our guests. I do not recommend hosting any function or event here — extremely poor service, lack of professionalism, and zero value...
Read moreA hidden gem I must say, this is the same property which was Country Inns and Suites previously but after rebranding it's now Radisson.
I was here the other afternoon for a meeting and got to know about the Navratra Thali which they are doing at the all day dining. It was lunch time and I was craving for some good Navratra food, the Thali was amazing and dull of goodness. Simple and subtle flavours v.well prepared. The mini aloo and kuttu tikkis, samak rice, Aloo jeera and the yummy pumpkin dish with Kuttu poori and not to forget the criapy Palak patta. Also a glass of lassi and 2 desserts- Sabudana ( sago) cheer and Samak rice phirni just amazing I must say.
The whole care was overwhelming and worth each penny for the customer. They are generous enough and serve you more of anything if asked for.
I am going back soon to try the other gr8 stuff at this place as the spread looked amazing and especially the Chefs signature...
