The place is lively, if anything. One can tell how famous they are in the region simply by looking at the crowds it fascinates on an everyday basis and in the festive season you shouldn't expect a share of special sweets unless you're an early bird. The quality of the sweet is highly a subjective matter for the most part and personally it's pretty okay to me, nothing mind blowing. However, they do not use gloves. Seriously, it's 2k19 and people still refrain from wearing gloves while serving perishable food.....That's something you'd not expect from a brand like Anupam would you? I won't and I won't recommend this place at all if you're all about hygiene(but you're missing out on some funky taste 🙄). The prices are not too much over the board but still a bit more than what they should be given their poor customer services (despite being called repetitively, the workers take your orders once in a blue moon) this might be because of the festivities though, failing at management of the customers you attract is even worse. I always find the bakery items having kind of a sour flavor to them which I not necessarily like to savor and it just feels stale in the end. Samos would be a good recommendation, most of the people love 'em then again, I'd like to mention they're expensive and the potato crumbs inside aren't even properly grated many of the times.
Just visited this place coz mommy had to buy a type of those big special matthis and the prices here are almost 1/2 of those offered by Gopal's lol! Don't tell 'em. That's it however, hope you guys enjoy your visit here rackin' some crispy pakoras or some well dried-of-oil samosas! ^∆^ Kudos to Anupam sweets on their success and hope they improve a lot of services they offer in...
Read moreI am very precisely sharing my experience, The 2 stars here are for the sweets which are sold in anupam.. They are not doubt good..! But the restaurant and their staff is wierd also the food is not so good.. I ordered for one plate bhatoora chana they brought 2 .. I ordered for extra pav for pav bhaji they brought extra bhatoora.. I ordered paneer pakode and they are serving it without chutney can you imagine? These guys have chaat counter! and they cant serve chutneys! i asked for chutneys with chana bhatoora they refused..But when i asked chutneys for paneer pakoda they then said ya okay we will bring it then also they are giving only brown chutney and saying you asked for only sweet one! ( Which was their assumption).. I asked for both the chutneys.. Lastly the paneer pakoda was not at all fresh and my whole family has suffered from indigestion.. Also they didn't served chilled mojitos.. Their service is really very badly managed.. I think they should give a proper training to their staff.. Also i didn't liked the way they have managed their counters it becomes really confusing for a person visiting first time in their outlet... They should atleast put some labels near their counters ,for example Billing section , bakery section , reception etc.. I experienced a lot of flaws and would hope that they could improve that.. Otherwise there is a good opportunity for their restaurant section atleast!.. I would never try this place again for...
Read moreSo I went to this restaurant and purchased 8 aloo pyaz kachori as I was visiting a relative and wanted to take something along. I left their place and later in the night she informed me that there was a rock found in one of the kachoris. I was shocked and embarrassed. I apologised and visited the store the next day to complain and had to purchase some sweets for my father. They just completely ignored my complain and didn't even apologise. Leave any gesture on their part to not charge me for the next order. Cut to another incident where i ordered 2 plates of puri sabzi on a sunday being a weekend. On checking the delivered ordered, i found that there was one poori missing. There were just three. I called to intimate that there are just 3 pooris and please send another. I didn't shout or anything as it could be an honest mistake but i requested to pleqse send asap as there was two of us. After waiting for 40 mins i called the restaurant again to ask if they have sent the missing poori. They just responded saying that there are no drivers available at the moment and would send when someone is there to deliver. Inspite of paying the full amount and 20 rs delivery charges, it had been more than an hour that the missing poori was delivered. Definitely the last time I made a mistake of ordering from such arrogant non...
