Read moreWe went for brunch cafe ambience was good, but food was far from being good. First, we ordered Ginger honey tea - was good Then we ordered a cappuccino - it was served after a lot of waiting, was just little warm, instead of being hot - not good.
Let's Talk about Main order: We were eagerly looking to eat pongal and medhu vada.
Medu Vada Vada was half cooked. Sambhar was not only overloaded with turmeric but the vegetables and lentils within weren't well cooked, we had to ask the staff to replace the same with cooked one. It was surprising to me that they gave a white chutney (appeared coconut chutney in the first look) but tasked of garlic. Another chutney given with same was hard to guess the ingredients within. And we didn't bothered to ask staff as it was busy playing with dogs inside the main sitting area.
Porridge not only seemed north Indian style khichdi in the first look, but also was missing the salt entirely. We asked the staff about same, and they just gave salt without any comments. Somehow, we managed to eat it with the replaced sambhar, but it definitely wasn't pongal.
Overall - bad food experience, but...

I’ve been in this town for 6 months and have been coming to this cafe almost everyday. They say that the way to someone’s heart is through food. This is partially true; Crossover got me with their lip smacking, mouth watering, and absolutely delicious food options! I’ve experimented with all their cuisines, say North Indian, Israeli, South Indian, and more, and I can’t decide which one I adore the most!
What’s more true is the relationships I formed with the owners - Kush, Nikita, and Aatish. They made me feel comfortable every single day. They serve everyone with timeless patience, and work hard from morning till night to make the customers feel welcomed and involved.
I came here for the food and stayed for the community, books, and friendships.
This cafe is the perfect introvert’s haven if you want to curl up with a book and a coffee. But if you desire social company, you’ll have fun conversations with all the lovely customers and owners. Try this cafe and see...
