I had the pleasure of dining at Vik's Kitchen in Shimla, owned by the culinary maestro Chef Vikrant Sood, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that set the tone for a memorable dining experience.
The menu at Vik's Kitchen is a culinary journey like no other. Chef Vikrant's passion for food is evident in every dish he prepares. The flavors are exquisite, and the presentation is a work of art. I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, each one more delicious than the last. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, every bite was a burst of flavors that danced on my taste buds.
One of the standout dishes was the Tandoori Chicken, which was perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection, leaving a smoky, flavorful imprint that I won't soon forget. The Butter Chicken was rich and creamy, a testament to the chef's mastery of Indian cuisine. The selection of vegetarian dishes was equally impressive, showcasing the diverse range of flavors and ingredients that Chef Vikrant incorporates into his creations.
The service at Vik's Kitchen was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. They made me feel like a valued guest and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
To top it all off, the restaurant's scenic location in Shimla added to the overall charm. The picturesque views of the mountains and lush greenery created the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.
In conclusion, Vik's Kitchen is a culinary gem in Shimla, and Chef Vikrant Sood's dedication to his craft shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. Read moreVik's Kitchen is a true example of how all restaurants and eateries should be. A perfect blend of good food, warm ambience and excellent customer service.
I've had food at their restaurant a couple of times and it had been a memorable experience...as a result of which when I got to know they're doing home deliveries, I couldn't be happier.
The first order I placed with them wasn't upto my expectation of Vik's Kitchen from past experiences...but I understood as during these tough times there could be shortage of staff and all. When I shared my feedback, on being asked by the person handling the WhatsApp for this restaurant, the response I got was overwhelming. Inspite of me being a first time customer for online orders, this person took upon him the responsibility to make my experience better and insisted that he'd send me one of the items again made strictly under his supervision.
I couldn't take the order that time but thanked him for his kind gesture. However, he did not forget and when I placed my next order after a few days he gave me a generous discount. Not only that, he got my order prepared under strict supervision and the result was remarkable...just like my past experiences with this restaurant.
I'm not a fan of Indian Cuisines so haven't tried them at this restaurant, however their Chinese dishes are to die for as they have a very authentic Chinese flavour to them and not the desi Indo-Chinese taste. White Sauce Pasta is another hit and a must try. I've tried two pizza's from à kitchen and just loved the Hawaiian Pizza. Overall, the food quality, quantity and taste are on point...and a customer service which goes out of their way to make every experience better and happier, is a bonus anyday.
Way to go Vik's Kitchen...I'm hooked onto your menu. Keep up the fab work...all the best for all your future endeavours. Look forward to order again soonest!...
Read moreTake it as 3.5 stars, I with my friend visited their restaurant this evening for dinner. Ambience was really good. Firstly, we have ordered steamed Momos which are reasonably good according to the price, then we have ordered their Special Soya masala chap with lachcha paranthas, Chaap was tender and juicy but the masala (gravy) was below average don't know how much tomato ketchup they have used to make this gravy. Lachcha paranthas were good then we ordered a butter naan which was also good. Two things, I want to mention are :-
