Purple Wind — Restaurant in Howrah

The tale of the twin cities has always been something to watch out for. While Kolkata has always had its share of modern day restaurants, pubs and lounges, the city of Howrah had to mostly rely on nearby areas for its fair share of excitement. Purple Wind is a one stop solution which has now been successful in filling the void.

Located inside Avani Mall, a certain place of happening, Purple Wind doubles up both as a restaurant and lounge. A place where even families can dine in without any apprehension, much like the other lounges, this place offers elegance making it a sober place for people to walk in and have a sip or a bite.

A multicuisine restaurant, expect a varied array of starters followed by a scrumptious main course, curated list of mocktails and cocktails. The price is quite substantial and will surprisingly seem affordable making this quite a nice and fun place to visit for anyone and everyone living in and around Howrah.

Visited the place today and our start was a little funny. We ordered vodka lemon chicken and they gave us crispy chicken, we didn't even notice and within 2 mins the guy came back and asked us if we want vodka lemon chicken to which I asked what is on our plate and he said it's crispy chicken, he went on to saying that we had ordered crispy chicken and I asked him that if we had ordered crispy chicken then why would he come to us and offer us vodka lemon chicken for no reason. He realized that he messed up and got the right food.

In a place like every Riverside mall, they have opened a restaurant,like luxury but not that much over priced . With beautiful atmosphere and quite fine food quality, they have made a great place over there. And mostly that is the first place where you are getting beer and alcohol, so anyone can visit, family, friends, or couples, any dates, anyone can visit there. We took a starter and a fried rice and a bowl of chicken item, all non-veg.,… And our bill was under 1700, all I can share is that my experience was quite fine.
