So here is my VERY detailed experience. I had booked a table for 3ppl, before 5 days ago for 15 may, 2022 (sunday) @2:00pm with high expectations and curiosity as this is our long back plan which is being implemented after 3-4 weeks of postponment. And finally the day arrived, We had reached there by 1:30pm and checked-in with my number. The person outside said wait for some time and we have been waiting... till then everything is fine. Here comes the part, it's been 2:20pm and there is no response from their side. Many people are all gathered together as the lobby was small it's become too conjusted, and then we got to know about the computer error / mistakes which is being raised from their side for that particular day and unlimited bookings are being opened.
Everyone got very frustrated. After a big fight and disturbances. people left that place, few people adjusted inside and ate their food in a standing position. And finally everyone left that place except Me and 2 of my friends along with us there are another 2 families waiting like us like OK.. LET'S WAIT TILL WE GET A TABLE AND NOT TO COMPROMISE and we made sure that service is available even if we get our table too late and started WAITING.
Finally... At 3:50pm we all got a table and had our lunch (Technically a Mid-Afternoon meal ๐ ) as their routine, we had Kababas (Taste:- 5/5), Live Counters (Taste:- 4/5, {The rating for LIVE counter depends on person to person based on their own taste}), Main course (Taste:-3/5), Desserts (Taste:-3/5). As we are late we missed Chicken biryani (only a few leftover rice and some pieces), and even missed soft drinks and chat sections and few desserts. Finished it off with an ice cream.
My opinion is:- They know that there has been an error from their side, they can call customers and make sure their confirmation and they can cancel it before they arrive here.
The manager is so humble and respectable, even tho every one is shouting at him he made sure he is respecting the customer and not being rude towards anyone. As of me the main course Taste can be even more improved ๐ AB's is a name palace for Kababas, tasted soooo good. If you are the person visiting for the very first time. Try to book on week days not on weekends and you will get a confirmation call before one day so make very sure that you will not have trouble after coming there. The good point is that the service is Good, and they didn't even take tips from customers If you are with your friends try making Fake birthdays ๐๐ a crazy different experience. We tried to make it but we thought that this adventure we had is more than enough. Of course we are the last batch leaving the restaurant with different experiences and memories.
Thanks You๐. I hope...
ย ย ย Read moreWe visited as a 18 members group of friends for lunch today at 1pm. Though there are varieties of food, management of guests and booking slots was chaotic. I would want to highlight several critical issues with the dining experience at ABs (Absolute Barbecues):
Chaotic guest Management: Guests standing behind those already seated, disrupting the dining experience. Poor handling of overlapping time slots and guest flow.
Unprofessional Environment: Guests occupying reserved seats during your slot, refusing to vacate. The ambiance resembled an unorganized setup rather than a premium dining experience. Though guests are having lunch at the table, other guests are allowed inside and standing at back of the chairs where seating guests are already having lunch. It was a long fight by management team with other guests who booked the slote but they were kept waiting. This is completely a failure of the management and this will disrupt the party mood of other guests who are already seated. This is totally senseless for guests to stand behind the seated guests having lunch.
Premature Request to Leave: We were asked to vacate before the reserved time slot (1 PM to 3 PM), despite prior booking.
Impact on Experience and Value for Money: Such poor management diminishes the overall dining experience and does not justify the premium pricing. It is like road side dhaba or small hotel where crowd is waiting to grab the seat the moment it is vacated. If this is the way ABs want to give customer experience then definitely it is not at all worth to price around 850-1000 per person.
Guest Flow and Seating Arrangements: Avoid allowing standing guests near occupied tables to respect the privacy of those dining. Designate a comfortable waiting area for guests who arrive early or are waiting for their slots.
A premium dining experience is about more than just foodโitโs about seamless service, ambiance, and respect for guests' time and comfort. Implementing the suggested changes could greatly enhance the overall experience for...
ย ย ย Read moreI recently visited AB's - Absolute Barbecues, a buffet-style restaurant with a large variety of barbecue dishes. This was my first time at the restaurant, and I was primarily excited to try the exotic meats: rabbit and duck.
Starting with the on-table starters, I was served mushroom, paneer, chicken, and prawns. The taste and texture of these starters were excellent, earning a perfect 5/5 rating from me. The flavors were well-balanced, and the barbecue preparation added a delightful smokiness to each bite.
Moving on to the self-service section, I headed to the wish grill and chose rabbit and duck, both of which were prepared with a garnish of spring onion, onion, rice, and Schezwan sauce. The flavors were fabulous, with the Schezwan sauce adding a nice kick to the experience. The variety and quality of the buffet selection were impressive, and I would rate it a solid 5/5.
For the main course, I had chicken fried rice and a Punjabi chicken leg piece. Both dishes were amazing, complementing the overall dining experience perfectly. I paired my meal with a glass of Pepsi and finished with a brownie for dessert.
The overall dining experience at AB's - Absolute Barbecues was fantastic, with a 5/5 rating for the ambiance and service. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite, especially since it was my first time at a buffet-style restaurant. They also offer three levels of spiciness in all their dishes, catering to different taste preferences. Additionally, they had some summer specials on the menu, which I couldn't try this time but look forward to exploring in future visits.
AB's - Absolute Barbecues exceeded my expectations with its diverse menu, excellent service, and delightful flavors, making it a top choice for barbecue enthusiasts and those looking to explore...
