I recently had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Brewsters in the Financial District, and I must say, it was a culinary experience like no other. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance and the aroma of spices that filled the air. The diverse menu promised a fusion of flavors, and Brewsters delivered on every front.
To start our culinary journey, we opted for the Karela Salad, a delightful twist on a traditional Indian favorite. The bitterness of the Karela (bitter gourd) was expertly balanced with fresh ingredients, making it a refreshing and surprising appetizer.
Next, the Pindi Chana Pate was a revelation. The smooth texture and rich flavor were incredibly satisfying, and it paired perfectly with the accompanying warm naan bread. It was evident that each dish was carefully crafted with attention to detail.
The Crab Uttapam was a highlight of our meal, with tender crab meat nestled in a fluffy, flavorful uttapam. This fusion of South Indian and seafood flavors was a harmonious blend that left us craving for more.
The Malabari Kathal Cutlet was another standout dish, showcasing the chef's skill in combining jackfruit and spices. It had a crispy exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth interior, bursting with flavor.
The Edamame, Radish, and Truffles Dumpling was a unique and delightful surprise. The combination of edamame and truffle infused an earthy, umami richness that was simply exquisite.
Moving on to the main courses, the Pachhi Chintakaya Kodi Kebab was a spicy delight, and the Gosht Galouti was incredibly tender and flavorful. The Karimnagar Fried Wings were crispy and succulent, a perfect blend of spices and textures.
The Murg Tikka was another highlight, with tender pieces of chicken marinated to perfection. The Vegetable Redang Curry with Jhala Roti was a delightful vegetarian option, offering a rich and aromatic curry that paired beautifully with the soft, warm roti.
For rice lovers, the Velluli Paneer Pulav was fragrant and satisfying, while the Ragi Sangathi Pachi Pulusu was a hearty and nutritious choice.
Dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. The Baileys Banoffee was a decadent treat, and the Basil & Lime Zest Cheesecake was a refreshing, tangy delight that left us craving more.
Overall, Brewsters in the Financial District exceeded our expectations in every way. The inventive menu, impeccable service, and vibrant atmosphere made for a...
Read moreI wish i could give 0 stars for service Please skip this place if dont want to feel annoyed by mistreatment. Reasons - I had booked a table for 8, but swiggy accidentally made the request for booking for only 1 guest. The moment I entered with my friends, I was greeted by the manager with - sir 1 guest ka booking hai bas. And upon further conversation, he sternly put “ye aapka aur swiggy ka problem hai, mera nahi” (this is your and Swiggy’s problem, not mine)
We made a different updated booking there and got a table, the waiter asked us to go to a different table, but asked us to carry our own pitchers and jug. I dont mind, but being explicitly asked to pick it myself is not something i would want to pay for.
We ordered food and the waiter got one of the dishes wrong, we mentioned to him that we did not order this, to take it back. Rather than being swift about it, we had to explain it to the manager, as an independent isolated even i dont mind this, but this added to the poor experience.
On the dance floor, the waiters were absolutely fine when there were other people dancing, groups which were not entirely men. But the moment my group went and started dancing, a waiter came and asked us to sit/move from the dance floor. Apparently, we were blocking the view of the screen (which was fine until others were there). Really appalled by this preferential treatment. This last bit truly...
Read moreAbsolutely Terrible Experience – Not Even Worth a Single Star!
Visited Brewsters Fine Dine Resto Bar and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Right from the moment we entered, it was a disaster. The staff are unbelievably rude and arrogant — forget customer service, they don’t even acknowledge your presence. We had to call the waiter multiple times just to place our order, and every time we were either ignored or responded to with a terrible attitude.
Coming to the food – calling it “bad” would be an understatement. The biryani we ordered took more than an hour to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold, bland, and tasted stale. It honestly felt like leftovers from the previous day. The rest of the dishes were no better — foul smell, terrible taste, and completely unappetizing. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to someone I dislike.
As if the food and service weren’t bad enough, the music was another headache. Loud, mismatched tracks with zero vibe — it felt more like noise pollution than entertainment. And the worst part? The management doesn’t care. They won’t come to the table even if you complain. They just shrug and disappear.
Please avoid this place at all costs. Doesn’t deserve...
