We had breakfast around 9am today at your Restaurant. There were only 3 tables occupied, a total of 11pax when we arrived. It took a long time for a grumpy order taker to attend to us. Another 32minutes of waiting...chutney was served and we got a cold plate of 2 tiny idlis and 1 cold rubbery mini vada. My order was served, a Limpy, cold masala dosa*. We were told sambar will be served. We nearly finished eating, after several reminders got a luke warm sambar. The restaurant got quite full by 10am, but the Kitchen and service were not ready.
Just one sweet young North indian waiter running like a headless chicken attending to 9 tables by 10.10am The order taker kept staring at his order pad lurking near a side table. He was least responsive to irate customers nor was he helping with expediting the much delayed orders😤.
We finally got our filter coffee after another long wait, thankfully it was hot. But no teaspoon. A massive curry spoon was given by the tall grumpy order taker😅.so we used the stem to stir the sugar. The spoon was too big to even go inside the cup of coffee.
By now a family table of 10 persons were so upset, they called the manager in blue shirt and complained and left. More unhappy customers left. Table of 12 next to us were waiting and waiting, finally they were served ONE single poori each and aloo sabzi!!!! and they were again waiting n waiting for more pooris, dosa and idli.... By the time we left, their order was still getting prepared.
Dear Owners, here's what I suggest, have a buffet breakfast and charge a per head rate. Serve piping hot breakfast. Keep a live dosa station.
We paid a whopping Rs.280/- for a dis satisfying meal. I will stick to my ever favorite Kamat, Taj and Chutneys.
Get experienced south Indian cooks and more servers on weekends. Your hotel will do well if you can improve the food service for the newly...
Read moreWe have been a frequent visitor to this place for occasional dinner as it is very close to us. However, we have noticed a gradual decline in food quality when compared to when they had started. We went there again last week and ordered the following items and were disappointed due to the food quality compared to the price. When one compares the price paid for a full course dinner at this place for a family of 4, you can easily have a better meal at places like ABs or Barbeque Nation (Of course the ambience and serving differs).. I am writing this review as a feedback to the restaurant to take it in a positive way and improve to retain regular visitors like us.
Items ordered: Chilly Paneer: Portion Size - 5/5, Taste- 3/5 - No complains. Garlic Fish: Portion Size 5/5, Taste 2/5 - Full of corn flour and very less of Fish. It was a very bad decision to order this item, I would have rather gone with Apollo Fish which would have been just the fish with no coating. Chikken Tikka Masala: This had been my favorite dish at this restaurant but not anymore. The quality has degraded like anything. It felt like instead of tikka, they had put in just the boiled pieces of Chicken with regular curry. Very bad it was.. Portion size - 3/5, Taste - 1/5 Paneer Tikka masala - Almost the same story as chicken tikka masala but found the curry to be bit better than CTM. Portion size 4/5, taste 3/5 . Roti/Butter naan: No comments.
I guess its the usual practice that the quality degrades over time and I say this due to earlier experience being great and felt...
Read moreThe banquet hall at this establishment is quite impressive, offering ample space to accommodate approximately 100 to 200 guests. The food is flavorful and delicious, and the staff members are polite and courteous, adding to the overall positive experience. Valet parking is also available, though the valet service can be improved to cater to the needs of the guests promptly.
The ambiance of the resturant is pleasant and sets the mood for any event hosted here. However, it is important to note that the food can be a bit too oily and spicy for some guests' preferences. Also, the service can be slow, which may result in delayed orders and extended wait times.
Although both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, the non-vegetarian dishes are highly recommended over the vegetarian options, as they tend to be more flavorful and satisfying.
In conclusion, the banquet hall provides an impressive space for hosting events, along with good and tasty food and courteous staff members. However, improvements can be made to the valet service, and guests should be aware of the potential for oily and spicy food, as well as...
