Restaurant Review: House of Chefs
I recently dined at House of Chefs and had a delightful experience. Here's my detailed review:
Food:
Biryani: The biryani was exceptional. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain distinct and flavorful. The blend of spices was well-balanced, providing a rich and aromatic taste without overwhelming the palate. The meat was tender and juicy, adding to the overall satisfaction of the dish.
Brownie Dessert: The brownie dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. It was rich, fudgy, and decadently chocolaty. Served warm, it had a delightful contrast between the crispy exterior and gooey center. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side made it even more indulgent.
Ambiance: The ambiance at House of Chefs is inviting and comfortable. The décor is modern yet cozy, with soft lighting and tasteful furnishings. The seating arrangement allows for a pleasant dining experience, whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy good food.
Service: The service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that all our needs were met without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.
Overall: House of Chefs offers a wonderful dining experience with its delicious food, warm ambiance, and excellent service. I highly recommend trying their biryani and brownie dessert. I look forward to...

Last to last Saturday (26th July 2025), went to House of Chefs for lunch.
It was a cozy little place, tucked inside the bylanes of Indiranagar. The decor is chic, comfy, yet unasusming. The vibe was pretty relaxed.
We were seated immediately. Ordered the following (one portion/ serving of each)--
Lasooni Chicken Kabab-- Soft kababs, tasted real good. Had a hint of curry leaves flavour (which is not there in Lasooni kababs generally), but somehow it enhanced the flavour profile.
Dum Ka Murgh-- Very authentic tasting. Exactly as you expect this great Hyderabadi dish to be.
Tandoori Roti-- Very soft.
Jeera Rice-- Decent.
Boondi Raita-- The surprise element of the entire meal. It was unexpectedly excellent. Reminded me of the raitas we got in the big, AC dhabas beside north Indian highways.
Service was very courteous, and prompt.
Overall, it was a very satisfying meal after some hiatus.
Pocket pinch for all of these (and a can of coke) was just short of 900/- (after 15% discount through Zomato).
Few observations:
The little, comfy place was almost full when we reached (around 1:45 PM). They have booth indoor and outdoor seating (overlooking a GHMC park).
Mostly people were having thaalis. They had some unlimited thaali on weekends which seemed to be popular. We were not interested in thaalis, so didn’t check.
The hygiene of the handwash area and washrooms needs to...

As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. A standout for me was the Pomfret Fish starter—it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and full of taste. It was a beautiful combination of textures and flavors that left me wanting more.
Overall, the experience was perfect—a wonderful blend of excellent food, great service, and a lovely setting. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic...
