Today we had a fantastic lunch in La Sabroso, Madhapur.
It's a small, 30-seater cafe beside Meridian School, Madhapur. We (4 people) reached at around 1:15 PM. We were seated immediately.
Though the place was small, the decor was really good and insta-worthy.
We started with a soup: Broccoli Cheddar Soup -- 4.5/5
In starters, we ordered:
Fried Cheese Momos -- pretty good (3.5/5)
Garlic Parmesan Tenders -- crunchy chicken tenders in a garlic-parmesan cheese based sauce. Excellent in taste (4.5/5)
Buffalo Prawns with Burnt Garlic Parmesan Dips -- Deep-fried crunchy, decent-sized coated prawns, served with an excellent parmesan-cheese based dip. The dip itself tasted so, so good. The prawn tasted excellent too, but they had poured generous dose of peri peri powder, which made the prawns a bit overtly salty. (4/5)
We ordered few drinks too:
Iced Americano -- 4/5 Classic Cold Coffee -- 3.5/5 Watermelon Juice -- 3.5/5 (we had ordered just one watermelon juice, as I didnât want to drink anything; but seeing me without a drink, they provided with a complementary juice. Good gesture)
In main course, we ordered:
Creamy Mushroom Chicken -- Excellent (4/5) Marry Me Chicken -- The best dish of the lunch. Chicken breast in a creamy, reddish sauce (4.75/5) Chicken Risotto -- Good (3.75/5) Butter Chicken with Steam Rice -- could have been better (3/5)
The bill for all (one serving of each dish was ordered, except that complimentary watermelon juice), after a Zomato discount of 40%, came as 2100+.
We came out happy and satisfied, with full...
Read moreLaSabrosso itâs one of the finest places to have an experimental ice cream that is made through pouring in liquid nitrogen in the ice cream mixture to quickly solidify and produce a nice thick stone, cold ice cream. But what surprised me the most it wasnât about the ice cream that was just special at this cafĂ©, the side dishes, especially the starter dishes blew our heads up on how well it was made and how well it was served to us. I went to this cafĂ© with a friend just to have a small snack & a bit of ice cream, but I was totally surprised and taken aback when I had tasted the dishes! Highlight dish breaded Panko, Crispy chicken! The Devilâs chicken was also an interesting dish, but we locals prefer more spice đ¶ïž in the dish since ! The process of making a liquid nitrogen ice cream - itâs a delight to watch as they added the mixture and it solidifies in a short span of time ! To all those that worries on the usage of liquid nitrogen No need to worry! As the liquid nitrogen just used as a catalyst to solidify the ice cream - it isnât consumed directly by the customers. Oversll please still visit this cafĂ© and enjoy the moments I personally would suggest to go to this CafĂ© on a date...

I recently visited your cafĂ© and was quite disappointed with the quality of the foodâit was not up to standard and did not taste proper. Due to this, my group and I decided to leave early. We took the initiative to inform the management politely about the issue.
However, instead of addressing our concern professionally, the manager responded rudely, saying, "Youâve wasted 3 hours, and we have a huge rush." This response was not only uncalled for but also completely disregarded our legitimate feedback as paying customers.
Regardless of how busy the cafĂ© may be, every establishment should prioritize customer satisfaction and food quality. Time should not be used as an excuse to avoid responsibility or dismiss customer feedback. It's expected that a manager listens, acknowledges the issue, and offers a solutionânot blame the customer.
This experience left a very negative impression, and I hope the café takes steps to train staff to handle such situations more professionally...
