Read moreI came here to hangout with my friends today. I ordered a cafe mocha & they served me a cappuccino. I explained to the staff that cafe mocha has chocolate in it and the beverage served does not have chocolate and if you could fix it. They went ahead and just added chocolate syrup from top and maybe mixed it with a spoon or something while the chocolate that is added has to ideally be blended and this ruined the entire coffee, the beverages tasted bad because of lack of right work and when I requested them if they can fix this, the staff started arguing and asked me to mix it and try, I did it but it was still the same, the bill was already paid, I gave the coffee back to the waiter to throw it away given they weren't fixing it and I couldn't drink the beverages anymore as it tasted like Hershey's syrup. additionally, when I asked the coffee to be fixed the first time, the staff ruined the cup, the chocolate syrup was smeared all over the bottom of the cup and they. didn't change the same. They didn't shy away from asking for the full bill but didn't fix the coffee when they didn't make it right. I have come to this cafe multiple times before and have always had a good experience but today I was heart broken with the staff's behaviour as I love cafe mocha and I usually don't eat outside and everytime I do have coffee( which is seldom) I am extremely excited and order my coffee with enthusiasm. For the cafe it's just about profit but for people it's a lot of different things : celebration, a treat to the self and lot more and I think that food places should also be mindful of these things. They only had to fix a coffee but decided to ruin...
Read moreAvoid At All Costs: Terrible Service, Bad Food & Zero Care
My visit to Renao Cafe was a masterclass in how a restaurant shouldn't operate. From the moment we walked in, we were met with neglect and a dismissive attitude. If you value your time, money, and health, stay away.
Here's a quick summary of our terrible experience:
Dismissive & Inattentive Staff: Despite plenty of staff being present, getting anyone's attention was a struggle. We were consistently ignored and made to feel unimportant and unwelcome from the start.
Dangerous, Undercooked Food: We tried the Chicken Biryani, and it was a massive mistake. The chicken was not fresh, felt half-boiled.
Uncomfortable & Negligent Ambiance: Our corner seating area had a foul smell. The staff showed a complete lack of consideration; we had to ask for a fan to be turned on, only for them to point it towards another table shortly after without asking. This left us dealing with a swarm of mosquitoes, completely ruining the evening.
It makes you wonder about the priorities of this cafe. The fan situation was particularly telling: it seems basic comforts are not for every customer, but are reserved for a select few. The staff decide on a whim who is worthy of decent service. Perhaps you need to arrive in a tuxedo or suit just to be considered a priority here.
We had planned to stay for coffee but couldn't stand the poor treatment any longer and left. This cafe is not what it used to be. The service is non-existent, and the management has zero care for its customers.
Final Verdict: Don't waste your money or your evening here. There are far better, more welcoming...
