Naidu Gari Kunda Biryani - Gachibowli — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Okay, so we went there to try out a new place and there were enough good reviews. 4.6 by more than 2k people, fair enough.

They looted us like anything. We ordered butter nan, one chicken curry, and one biryani plate first.

I don't know whether they had scarcity of chicken or their chef just didn't know how to cut big pieces of chicken. In my all 22 years of existence, this is the first time, I saw chicken curry served like this, with pieces equal to small mushrooms size. The chicken pieces looked like mushrooms lol.

Then we thought let's order some butter chicken masala, atleast this time their pieces would be better, as in general , it's safe to order butter chicken for big pieces... But to our great dismay, the size of the chicken were same. None I repeat none serves such small pieces in butter chicken. We literally had to finish our nans with the gravy only.

And all of those were more expensive than the market prices. The waiters were nice and polite. Maybe they should focus on their food also. Neither our mind nor our stomach were satisfied.

For God's sake, don't embarrass yourself serving those tiny chicken pieces. If you can't afford to cook them well, remove it from the menu. . Won't recommend to anyone. There are better restaurants with better and cheaper food in...

What seems to attract someone to this establishment would be the Pot Biriyani. But for someone who is very particular about hygiene, good service and taste, I would not recommend this place. We went right before 10pm for dinner, the place was full and my first impression was that maybe the food tastes good! To be honest, it tastes average.

Coming to the hygiene, the place to wash hands is untidy with food particles in the washbasins. We had food particles and cutlery under our table and it seemed like no one was cleaning up anywhere else except the top of the tables. The onion salad and side sauces were kept out in the open and we're being served by hand which I wouldn't have had an issue had they been clean hands.

Regarding the service, we were given the serving spoons and forks which were too large to have food. Only after asking, we were given some replacements. If you were thinking that the cold drinks will be cold here, you are wrong! Assuming that the drinks might've been in the fridge since morning, we ordered thumbs up and sprite. Disappointed again!! They were flat and warm.

I recently visited and ordered biryani from and it was a significant letdown. As a fan of biryani , I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the meal fell short in several key areas.

The spices, which should have been aromatic and flavorful, were poorly balanced, resulting in a dish that was bland and lacked the rich, complex flavors one expects from good biryani. The meat was dry and tough, indicating it had either been overcooked or not properly marinated.

Moreover, the portion of chicken in the biryani was surprisingly sparse, making it feel like I was mostly eating flavored rice with very little substance. The accompanying raita was watery and tasteless, failing to complement the dish.

To make matters worse, the biryani was greasy, leaving an unpleasant oily aftertaste. The dish also arrived lukewarm, which further detracted from the overall experience.
