Terrible is the word nothing less than that. We book for a about 11 people.
Now here is the list of disappointments. While we walked to check on the menus - tables were arranged to ensure we get to sit faster, we anticipated this fantastic customer service but later understand that this was just to make sure we don't move out of the restaurant, we were comfortably made to sit . Once we sat everyone vanished, we had to pull guys on our own to take our order even though the place had just 2 tables occupied, this is where it all started. Order placed for kulchas with few dal, rice and breads, with chicken gravy etc, promised to deliver in 20min, the order came after 35-40min, that too after we sat for 30min and hit the panic button to one of the attendants, while we observed that 4-5 attendants were busy serving food to a largeprebooking who came nearly 10min after we entered the restaurant, so it's not first come first serve, this was a disgusting experience.
We got our tasteless kulchas overtime chicken gravy which was cooked in chicken leg which had blood blocks within, chicken not washed properly before cooking it, this was next level of our disappointment High priced and less qty, tasteless, sides served with kulchas, dal makhani was cold seemed they just poured and served. Post our food, we ordered for finger bowl , which nearly took so long that half of our guys walked to wash their hands. The manager whom we don't know the name had less hair was arguing to apparently our IHM colleague that kulchas take 30min to cook and serve, horrible.
We were charged approx 5800 change with no mouthfrshner served to anyone, one of our collegue had to take the bowl on his own to serve to others.
The brand is good, I personally know this company they are also very professional but this outlet is going to really pull the brand down.
We were informed that a lady in green dress code was the superior to this brand but she didn't bother to intervene, God knows if this is the situation here, no one...
Read moreWe visited Punjab Grill at Inorbit Mall Hyderabad on 5th June 2024 for our Office Lunch. We are 11 people and as soon as we entered into the restaurant, we placed our order, so that it doesn't get delayed. We ordered some chicken stuffed Kulcha, mutton stuffed Kulcha, nans, chicken, rice, lassi etc. Unfortunately we had to wait 40 mins for our food and the worst part was no one was there to attend or even come near to our table to even inform about our food. After 40 mins one of the steward came and just served only 4 people among us and rest of the 7 people had to wait for again 10 more minutes for the food to be served. There were another big table with around 30 people for a group lunch just in front of us and 4 Stewards were continuously attending them only. Including the Manager nobody from the restaurant bothered to come to our table even to serve water. The food taste was extremely horrible and the quantity was like they are literally cheating the guests. We somehow finished our food without enjoying it even for one rupee. After all these nobody even came to our table to take the feedback. So we had to call the Manager and gave him our pathetic expression feedback and the funniest part is that being a Outlet Manager he was arguing with us on our feedback rather accepting their drawbacks. I have even wrote "TERRIFIED" on their Feedback Card and left my name and phone number on it, expected to get a call from them but nothing as such. We all are from Hotel and Hospitality Industry and I myself having 20 years of Experience with Taj, ITC and Radisson and worked as Operation Manager. This is not Hospitality. This is not Guest Service. This something else only...
Read moreHave been to different locations of Punjab grill around the world which have Michelin stars. The food and ambience in those restaurants was truly great. When this outlet in Hyderabad was expecting to have similar standards but was highly disappointed. Feels like any other small restaurant with sub par food. Dishes tried : Starters: Palak patta chaat - looked appealing but the curd piped on the palak patta was too much in quantity and the whole thing was very sweet, almost like a dessert Paneer tikka - this was decent with good portion size with good number of sizeable paneer pieces well marinated Tandoori aloo- baby potatoes in tandoori style. Very heavy on the dhaniya seeds and almost seems bland inside. The coating was only good on the surface Corn kebab - the worst possible way I’ve ever eaten corn. There was nothing right about this dish. Felt flavourless and unpleasant to eat. Nadru kebab- lotus steam galouti, decent effort but the ulta tawa paratha was stale
Main: Aloo Gobi - classic aloo gobi with chunks of tomatoes was decent Dal makhani - very average, wasn’t creamy or tasty. Butter naan - soggy and not well cooked Amritsar kulcha - the exterior of the kulcha was quite flaky and looked interesting. The stuffing was bland. The only thing I could taste was aloo without salt. Absolutely no seasoning no flavours no spice . Unusually service with dal makhani
Very disappointed in...
