Sai Ram Dosa Place — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This visit was not my first and hopefully not the last. But honestly the food items I ordered for take away - Idli and bonda with chutney were disappointing in taste and quality. I used to relish their idli, dosa and bonda a lot earlier before the pandemic times. Infact happen to eat here since the time they started serving from this location in PG colony.But the idli size and quality of batter was compromised. The chutney was tasting odd, so unlike the previous version. Pricing was similar, low.Even a twenty percent increase would not hurt customers if they serve good quality...

Idli, dosa and bonda are good. Serve Jain as well. During evening they serve only butter dosa which means if you don't want waddle kf butter you either eat what they prep or you pay for butter and don't take it. Chutney is coconut based however it taste keep on changing. Owner is supper arrogant. Feels he owns you but the staff is good and understand your requests. Still go there for brkfast or during less rush hours for a better experience. They have put table and chairs now. dosa starts at 50 but plain dosa is 60 and masala is 80 while rest is of vendor...

The tiffin is full of fat over priced. No price printed on menu and they charge a bomb. Plain Dosa is 50/-,un sure what sweat is he putting in. I ordered a masala Dosa (80/-) and kothmir dosa, with only kothmir and butter (90/-). I never asked for butter on them, but they put it and later was told I should have mentioned them. Hygiene is for God sake, they are the tax evaders as there is no transperancy and billing. High time people to stop encouraging these scamsters.

It is better to mention most of the Sindhi Colony tiffins...
