Starbucks — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Coffee is really wonderful. Nice place to stay peacefully and work quickly. But the people aren't that friendly and not so supportive to explain their products, even though there are none waiting. There's no menu cards available and counter is not even smiling and helping when we ask for selection of products. Anyhow we learnt a lesson to do some research before you visit this location. This Starbucks is on the ground floor of the mall and I stopped by when I needed to get some snacks and coffee on the go. Friends and I ended up staying for at least half an hour and enjoyed the overall ambience of the store. Clean, sleek, and really well-designed like most Starbucks. I ended up buying one of their mugs so as to not forget my time here.Good place with good ambience. It has a limited place so it often gets full. The people who turn up are usually those who want to grab a quick coffee or chill in between their shopping or just before their movie, so there is a quick turnaround with possibility to get place easily. Also, its right across the entrance in the mall so sometimes it does get noisy.I love the environment, setup and the vibe all around the coffee shop. Wanted to buy some merch as we were leaving the place. Around 9.40 pm. Reached the cash counter with the item, the person at the counter told me he can take only cash and no other payment.

In this digital age, what person would carry around cash? Mind you, Starbucks products are expensive. I really wanted that item as a souvenir. Such a disappointment.

If the collection for the day is closed then they should put a closed sign. Don't say we only take cash like some small kirana shop on the road. Live up to the value of the brand. What a shame. Turned me off of any Starbucks I'll ever visit. Zero professionalism.
