Here’s what I found about Subhan Bakery, a well-known traditional bakery in Hyderabad, as well as what people love about it and what to watch out for:

⸻

🏛 History & Background • Subhan Bakery was established in 1948 by Syed Khader Sahab, originally as a small home-based bakery supply business. • Named after his son Syed Subhan. • It’s located in Nampally / Red Hills area, specifically address: 11-6-467, Nampally Market Rd, Devi Bagh, Bazar Ghat, New Mallepally, Hyderabad, Telangana 500001. • Over time, they’ve expanded their items beyond bread to include many classic Hyderabadi baked goods.

⸻

🍞 Signature & Popular Products

Some of the items that make Subhan Bakery especially beloved:

Product Notes / What People Say Osmania Biscuits Their version is much loved; people often rate it among the best in the city. Dum ke Roat A traditional item, especially popular around Muharram. Khara Biscuits, Chand Biscuits, Fruit Biscuits, Cookies, Cakes, Rusks A variety of sweet & savory baked goods. Snacks / Puffs etc. They also offer savory bakery items.

⸻

⏱ Timings & Other Practical Info • Opening hours: roughly from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM (as per some listings) at the Nampally location. • They usually stay open long, and many old-timers agree early morning or mid-day is best to avoid crowds and get fresh stock.

⸻

🎖 Awards & Recognition • Subhan Bakery has been recognized as “Best Dum ke Roat” and “Best Osmania Bakery” in recent HybizTV Food Awards. • In 2022 it celebrated 75 years of continued operation, earning praise for maintaining quality and tradition.

⸻

👍 Why People Like It • The taste & texture especially of Osmania biscuits is repeatedly praised (some say they “melt in mouth”). • Strong nostalgic / heritage value — across generations. • Diverse selection – sweets, biscuits, savory items. You can often find seasonal items like Dum ke Roat.

⸻

⚠️ Things to Note / Criticisms • Some items may sell out later in the day, especially the popular ones. It helps to go earlier. • Because of demand, sometimes certain fresh products or special items aren’t available. • Variability: some reviewers mention that certain baked goods (especially seasonal or cakes) may not always live up to expectations.

⸻

If you like, I can pull up their current menu with prices, maybe photos, or suggest the best items to try first. Do you want...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Subhan Bakery in Nampally, Hyderabad, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations! This charming bakery has truly earned its stellar reputation, and for good reason. From the moment I walked in, the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods enveloped me, setting the stage for a culinary adventure.

One of the standout items that I simply cannot stop raving about is their Osmania biscuits. These biscuits are nothing short of perfection! Each bite is a harmonious blend of buttery richness and just the right amount of sweetness, with a delightful crunch that leaves you wanting more. They pair exceptionally well with a cup of chai, making them a quintessential treat for any time of day. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and you can tell they put a lot of care into crafting these little delights.

Equally impressive are their Dum Ke Roat. These fluffy, aromatic breads are a feast for the senses! Soft and pillowy on the inside with a perfectly crisp exterior, they are absolutely divine. The subtle hints of spices and flavors make each bite a joyous experience. Whether enjoyed on their own or paired with a delicious curry or chutney, Dum Ke Roat from Subhan Bakery is a must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic Hyderabadi flavors.

While the Osmania biscuits and Dum Ke Roat are undoubtedly the stars of the show, I must also commend Subhan Bakery for their wide array of other items. From delectable pastries to savory snacks, each offering showcases their commitment to quality and taste. I’ve tried several other baked goods during my visits, and every single one has been fantastic. The attention to detail and passion for baking is evident in everything they create.

The ambiance of the bakery is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a quick snack or to pick up goodies for special occasions. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help you choose from their impressive selection.

In conclusion, Subhan Bakery in Nampally is a gem that every food lover should visit. With their best-in-class Osmania biscuits, mouthwatering Dum Ke Roat, and an array of other delicious treats, this bakery truly embodies the essence of Hyderabadi cuisine. I can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their delightful offerings! Highly...

Title: Hidden Gem for Biscuit Lovers!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 out of 5 stars)

Review:

I recently discovered Subhan Bakery, and let me tell you, it's an absolute treasure trove for biscuit enthusiasts! Nestled discreetly in the heart of the city, this bakery offers an incredible range of mouthwatering treats that will leave you craving for more.

If you're a fan of Osmania biscuits, look no further! Subhan Bakery's Osmania biscuits are simply unmatched in taste and quality. The perfect balance of sweetness and melt-in-your-mouth texture will transport you to biscuit heaven. They also have a splendid variety of other biscuits and cookies like kaju, pista, and assorted flavors, which are equally delightful.

What sets Subhan Bakery apart is their commitment to freshness. The goodies on their racks are always baked on the same day or at most a day old. You can rest assured that every bite you take is filled with the aromatic goodness of freshly baked treats.

With a rich history spanning 125 years, Subhan Bakery has truly perfected the art of baking cookies. Their experience and expertise shine through in every delectable creation. The secret recipes passed down through generations make their biscuits unique and unrivaled.

While some may argue that Karachi Bakery is the go-to spot for biscuits, I must respectfully disagree. Subhan Bakery's offerings outshine the competition in every aspect. The only downside is that it's a hidden gem with just one branch, so not many people are aware of its existence. But believe me, once you experience the wonders of Subhan Bakery, you won't settle for anything less.

So, if you're a true biscuit connoisseur and seeking the ultimate taste experience, make sure to pay a visit to Subhan Bakery. It's a true testament to the legacy of cookie-making and a treat you won't soon forget. Spread the word, and let this legendary establishment get the recognition it deserves!

Happy indulging in the flavorsome delights of Subhan Bakery!

Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my...

I'm buying since ages from Subhan. One of my friend came from London to visit Hyderabad i have taken him to buy ROAT, Osmania biscuts,Chole ki puri etc we have paid 1510/- our bag is full we ask for another Recycle ♻️ bag he refused to give us my friend felt disappointed we paid 50/- for bigger bag? One of oldest bakery/reputed business charging for his own brand it's not unacceptable infact it gives advertise to is own brand minimum charge is ok 10/- as for my view Here's a more detailed explanation: Consumer Protection Laws: Many countries have consumer protection laws that prohibit unfair trade practices. Charging for branded carry bags is often considered an unfair practice because it's seen as a hidden cost and a way for retailers to benefit from advertising without the customer's explicit consent. Branding as Advertising: If a carry bag has the store's logo, name, or other branding, charging for it is essentially making the customer pay for the store's advertising. No Explicit Choice: In some cases, consumer courts have ruled that retailers must provide carry bags free of charge unless the customer explicitly opts out. Unfair Trade Practices: Charging for branded carry bags is often classified as an unfair trade practice because it can mislead or deceive consumers. Consumer Rights: Consumers have the right to not be subjected to unfair trade practices, and they can file complaints with consumer protection agencies if they are charged for branded carry bags.

👉This bakery is quite popular in the city of Hyderabad 🕌and is crowded with public, especially, during the Muharram month (First month in the Islamic calendar) to buy the delicious Dum ke Roat (Special cookies). 👉This is the main branch loacted in the busy neighborhood with traffic congestions. This bakery doesn't have any other additional branches. 🅿️A small size two wheelers parking space is available at the main entrance. Finding parking space for four wheelers will be quite hectic 🚗🥵 near this bakery. 👍I personally like buying the Osmania biscuits, fruit biscuits and fruit cake from this bakery as I find them quite delicious 😋. Most of the baked products from this bakery can easily be stored and consumed within 6 months from the manufacturing date (ℹ Make sure to read the expiry dates on the boxes of the products) 👉During my recent visit with family we decided to taste some snacks in this bakery. A small dining area with few chairs and tables are available within this bakery. We tasted the special chicken cheese burger 🍔and chicken 65 roll 🍣along with rose cake 🍰. All the items were tasty 👍with sufficient portion size. 👍This bakery accepts cash and card payments. ♿The bakery entrance doesn't support wheelchair accessibility and I didn't find any wheelchair accessible parking space nearby this bakery. 😷No facemasks are needed to enter the premises of the bakery and no social distancing rules were followed here.
