Tatva might be the only veg fine dine I might have visited more than half a dozen times. It would be my top recommendation if someone asks me for a vegetarian restaurant! That's how delicious this place is πŸ˜‹ They are now open in #Begumpet to cater Secunderabad area with same amazing team and enthusiasm.

For people who doesn't like to read long reviews, you can skip to last line 😜

While food is one factor that one likes to visit Tatva, ambience is their other strong hold! And they have made their interiors lot better at this new branch. Be it cutlery, seating or your surroundings, they ensured to take care of these and have a wonderful experience 😊

So, this time, we have ordered their new additions of the menu and went with chef's recommendations.

Vichyssoise - a potato leek soup which we have enjoyed thoroughly.

Sounfiana Malai Paneer tikka - with a touch of fennel seeds, this was a very good one to start with. Even the quality of paneer was evidently fresh πŸ˜‹

Karare Kumbh - This was a brilliant starter for me. Crispy outer rumali layer filled with mushroom and cheese is one starter you should try!

Pot stickers - a vegetarian version, I have enjoyed this dumpling πŸ₯Ÿ only with their garlic sauce. It was just about decent for me.

For the mains we have ordered

Dum Ka Paneer - Paneer made in sandwich style filled with green peas paste and the rich cashew onion gravy to complement the dish with, was indeed good. However, I missed that smoky flavor that it intended to have.

Tarkari koftey - When we were suggested this, I was reluctant to give a nod as koftey is something I felt quite a regular dish. But boy, this was super awesome πŸ‘Œ subtly flavored and kofta was super soft ( not remotely hard, which happens most of the times)

Chur chur Naan - this was a bit overdose for me. Butter and grated planner on top of it could have been reduced which would have made the roti more better for me. Also, this did not carry much of crispness to it.

For Desserts, we tried their new entrants :

Rasmalai Panacotta - Before anything, let me tell you they don't use gelatin but agar agar. This was really good, Italian dessert with a touch of Indianness to it.

Caramel Custard apple - Tasted quite natural when it comes to flavor of the fruit ( they use real pulp of custard apple which they keep frozen for it to use in off season) . However, dessert which was set like caramel Creme did not go great for me in case of texture. It may be because actual caramel Creme may need ingredients which cannot be used here because they only serve veg 🀐 can't blame them. But I must say it was a very good attempt.

Waterchestnut pie - added this to my list of fav desserts from this place πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹

Overall, Tatva would still remain to be my favourite when it comes to vegetarian ( be it casual or fine dine). Probably the only place after Italian where I wouldn't mind eating veg πŸ˜‹

THIS PLACE CHARGES SERVICE CHARGES (SERVICE CHARGE IS NOT GOVERNMENT CHARGE AND IT MEANS FORCIBLE TIP TO HOTEL MANAGEMENT OF EXTRA 5% ON BILL RATHER THAN TIPPING ON YOUR WILL TO WAITERS).

I was not particularly disappointed visiting "Tatva" at Begumpet. I carried no expectations while I visited this restaurant. I wanted to give this 2.5 rating rather than 2. as the ambience was good, you clothes will not smell curry or dal when you come out, cutlery was good too. However, when it came for crockery, it was of "Bone China" which is unusual for Pure Vegetarian Fine Dining restaurants as undocumented protocol, so Tatva entirely loses it "Fine Dining" and DO NOT give any β€œFINE DINING” tag .... now as for food: I tasted Avadhi Curry as advised by the staff there to be something which is specialty there, but found to be ordinary dish with masala, then tasted other curry with Paneer, which was too smelled and tasted same as in URBAN street dhabas of Abids and Begum Bazar. I just thought about trying something liked the Fried Rice (tasted wholly Indian Version) and this was ok. I was just searching for something special about this restaurant but came to my rescue, the ambience and absolutely friendly staff ….. who do not hurry you as in other Abids and Begum Bazar and Siddiamber Bazar street Restaurants. However, the food quality remains same and masaledaar we find in Abids or Begum Bazar, Siddiamber bazar dhabas or restaurants serving Butter Roti, Dal Tadka, paneer and veg curry (Same masala for all curries) …. Pricing is of very higher side, you will only be paying for Ambience and Staff behaviour, you will enjoy your privacy unlike other similar restaurants of Abids and Begum Bazar and Siddiamber Bazar Restaurants. Staff behave very good and serve us patiently but food is very average and similar food will be almost 60% less in cost in Abids and Begum Bazar and Siddiamber Bazar Restaurants. Mocktails are all artificial drinks and avoid drinking to save your health. They are filled with high sugars as they are colour, essence and sugar...

If you're looking for a restaurant that offers an all-round great experience, then look no further than this amazing establishment. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew that I was in for a treat.

First of all, the ambience was absolutely delightful. The decor was tasteful and modern, with just the right amount of lighting to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

But the ambience was just the beginning - the service was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with friendly smiles and impeccable service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure that every detail was taken care of. It was clear that they were passionate about their work, and it showed in the quality of service they provided.

And then there was the food. The starters were simply amazing, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Each one was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. And the mocktails were the perfect accompaniment, with a range of refreshing and delicious drinks to choose from.

But perhaps the best thing about this restaurant was the affordability of the food. Despite the high quality of the dishes and the excellent service, the prices were incredibly reasonable. This meant that I was able to enjoy a fantastic meal without breaking the bank.

Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. With its great ambience, exceptional service, and delicious yet affordable food, it's the perfect place to go for a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

This pure-vegetarian restaurant offers a multicuisine experience covering Indian, Oriental (Chinese, Thai, etc.), and Continental (Italian, French, etc.) cuisines. They have a few vegan and Jain options as well. Service is good, the staff members are helpful and friendly. The ambience was good, it was cozy and inviting. Food: We tried Miso Soup, Money Bags, Kamal Kakdi (Lotus Stem/Root) Galouti Kebab, Thai Green Curry, Mexican Sizzler, and Tender Coconut Panna Cotta. Miso Soup: Nice, fermented, and umami touch. Kamal Kakdi Galouti Kebab: Very tender and soft. A true Galouti Kebab made with lotus stem instead of mutton. Money Bags: Like spring rolls, crunchy and filled with veggies. It felt a bit too salty to me. Yet, it was quite enjoyable. Portion size seemed small though. Mexican Sizzler: The chimichanga (deep fried burrito) was delicious. The rice and the veggies were not that great. Thai Green Curry: Nice and aromatic as always thanks to kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass. Tender Coconut Panna Cotta: Interesting presentation, nice elements overall, the poached pear and the berry compote went great with the tender coconut panna cotta itself! However, portion sizes felt small to me for the price, especially the starters. Service: Good. The staff members were friendly, polite, and helpful with menu recommendations. Ambience: Nice and inviting. Looked elegant in my opinion. Overall, an interesting place for pure-vegetarians to try something different (like silken tofu, lotus stem, water chestnut, miso, pho, etc.) across cuisines.
