Tranquil Bistro — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I am giving a low rating to this cafe because unfortunately our experience was not great here :(

I went here for lunch today. Since we did not get a reservation twice before, I called them to reserve a table. No one answered the call twice. I messaged them on their Insta handle and they graciously booked a table for me. I really wanted to explore this place having heard so much about it.

The outside seating which is the real beauty of this place was full, so I sat indoor for sometime. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other. Noone came to hand over the menu and there was no menu scanner on the table (something which almost all good restaurants have). I finally went to their counter and picked a menu card myself. Couldn't bear the extra loud music inside, so sat outside.

Outside, we placed our food orders and asked for the beverage menu. The service person responded instantly, "no beverages". I said that I can see people having some drinks...then the person remembered that they do have thumbs up, sprite and 2 mocktails. This was heights of underselling.

We ordered galoti kabab, agli olio chicken, small serve combo of friend rice with prawns in coriander curry.

I give 5 stars for the galoti kabab and the prawn rice combo. It was cooked very well. What spoilt my experience was the number of times their service person confirmed my order and the way their staff kept dropping stuff that I had kept on the table while placing plates. It was irritating and very unprofessional.

Next, the service person comes and tells that penne pasta is not there, he can only get spaghetti. We were really hungry by this time so we agreed. Within 5 minutes of us saying yes, he got the pasta and it was penne. The moment the plate landed on the table I saw a hair strand in the pasta 😮‍💨 and I requested the "efficient" service person to take it back. He goes back and comes with the same plate removing the hair!!! You can well imagine..we asked for the bill, paid and left after that.

Just with 1 kebab starter, 1 thumbs up, and a prawn rice small combo, the bill was over 2k. We can call this a moderately expensive place. Now, would you expect this kind of service there?
