Udipi's Upahar - Telecom Nagar — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Within a complex of a tourist place, this eating joint is really a pleasant surprise by any standard. Super hygeine (tables, chairs, cutlery, hand wash area, etc.), quick service (we ordered 4 different cuisines and got them delivered within 5 minutes), likeable pricing (Upma, Thali, & Ghee Masala Dosa were just 90/- each though Pasta was 210/-), easy access (just after the exit from Lumbini Park), and great location (overlooking the Hussein Sagar Lake). We were done on 20 minutes. Will never forget this experience.

Like all the other Udupi Upahars across Hyderabad - this one is pretty good too. It's opened only recently though. The interiors are good for the price of the meals, you'll like the pure veg Udupi style taste of the meals whether it is breakfast or lunch. They serve your meals pretty quickly.

Bottom-line- if you are a bachelor who wants pleasant home cooked like breakfast or meals and wanted one place that you could eat at everyday, then Udupi Upahar is amongst the best you can find in Hyderabad. It won't burn a hole through your pocket (or clock) and your health won't go down the drain either.

Average place that has become extremely bad is how I had stated earlier. For the last 8 monts, there are significant improvements Quick billing & paying attention to Customers Kitchen staff are friendly & don't argue any longer Food quality has also become consistent without any change in price Sometimes the owner himself comes to serve the Customers The interiors are quite clean despite the renovation There's an AC hall as well Overall, it's a good place to have a Bangalore/KA food
