Visited ZERO 40 recently and had a really good experience overall! If you’re looking for a place that blends good vibes, tasty food, and chill ambience, this is definitely worth checking out.
🍽️ Food Taste: The food here is absolutely delicious. Right from the starters to the main course, everything was packed with flavor. The portions are decent and the presentation is appealing. We tried a mix of both veg and non-veg items — and honestly, everything was on point. Their signature dishes and bar snacks go perfectly well with the drinks they serve. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can tell the kitchen takes their craft seriously.
⏳ Service: Now coming to the service — while the staff is polite and helpful, the service is a bit slow. It took some time for our food and drinks to arrive, even though the place wasn’t overcrowded when we visited. That’s something they could improve, especially considering how good the food is — nobody likes waiting too long for a meal they’re excited about!
🛡️ Security: One thing that stood out was the strict security. They’re very particular at the entrance, checking IDs and bags. It felt a bit over the top initially, but eventually, we understood that it adds to the overall safety of the place. It’s not very common in most breweries, but it’s good to know they’re taking steps to ensure a safe environment.
🌃 Ambience: The ambience is lovely — whether you’re going with friends or on a casual date. They have a vibrant yet relaxed vibe, with good music playing in the background (though not too loud, so conversations are still easy). The decor is modern and artsy, with cozy indoor seating and an airy outdoor section that gives you a great weekend vibe.
🍺 Drinks: If you’re a beer lover, their craft beer collection is something you’ll enjoy. They offer a variety of brews, and the bartender can guide you based on your taste preferences. They also have a good range of cocktails and mocktails for non-drinkers.
🚗 Parking: Parking is available, though it can get a little tight during peak hours. Best to go early if you’re driving.

📍Final Thoughts: ZERO 40 is a great spot for hanging out, enjoying quality food and drinks, and soaking in a cool ambience. Yes, the service could be faster and security a little more relaxed, but apart from that, it’s a pretty solid experience. Will definitely...
Read moreMy colleagues and I arrived for a planned evening, only to be met with an utterly unacceptable experience due to the behavior of the bouncer.
While the pub clearly states its policy of not serving alcohol to under-21 patrons, there was no such disclaimer regarding food service. Despite arriving later than my colleagues who had already ordered food and drinks, I was denied entry solely due to my age.
The bouncer's demeanor was nothing short of rude and dismissive. Despite my clear explanation that I intended to enjoy the food only, he was aggressive and demanded I leave the premises immediately. This complete lack of professionalism was compounded by his apparent leniency towards other, possibly regular, patrons who entered freely.
This experience was a complete betrayal of basic hospitality principles. The blatant display of bias and the hostile treatment towards a new customer is utterly unacceptable.
While my 21st birthday is less than a month away, the incident has left such a negative impression that I will not only never return personally but will actively discourage my colleagues from doing so as well.
Furthermore, if the pub truly enforces a policy of not serving food to under-21 patrons, it has a serious responsibility to clearly communicate this information on its page and at the entrance. The current lack of transparency is misleading and unacceptable.
This review serves as a stark reminder to potential patrons to consider the establishment's treatment of its customers before choosing to spend their time and...
Read moreDespite my experience at the other Zero40 location we reserved a table at this specific location and visited at around 5:30 in the evening on a Sunday. The security at the entrance declined to park our car stating they had limited parking and don't want issues. At that point they had close to 7 cars in the parking at front so not sure what's up with that. This should have been a sign but alas the thirst for a pint over rode this.
The host at the entry looked confused when I showed the reservation done from Google/Dineout via maps. Well, she didn't turn us away and thanking our stars we went in to be seated (rather stood up) near a pool table area in a crowded ground floor. The host explained that they get no intimation of a table booking - I'm surprised that there is a reservation system in place which doesn't notify the restaurant to plan for the capacity. Anyway we just wanted to get a pitcher of old timer and some snacks, but I think it was not in our stars. It took quite some time here too to flag a waiter to take an order.(I mean what is the issue here, you open up a space in hospitality/service industry and have a good price tag to go with it - but no oversight or overview of the service being provided). Just ordered a pitcher of old timer and chicken 65, fries, onion rings etc. The food was okay, nothing great. The brew was decent but the overall experience was just terrible. So that's two locations or rather the brand itself...
