Normally love Zythum - although it’s been a rollercoaster of good and bad beer. Today we had good beer but horrible toilets and more importantly disgusting valet service and an attitude that disturbingly encourages drink driving . We parked our car on Zythum’s parking area. Upon leaving we found our car had been moved by a Zythum valet to the opposite side of the road presumably because it wasn’t ‘fancy’ (because everyone knows Zythum is a fully fancy place!!!) enough to sit on their forecourt. Visited on 26 Feb 2023: Very good quality and tasty beer. There were seven options available out of which we liked five flavors. Our comparison benchmark was Prost and beer stood up to those standards. Nice ambience and ample space with huge TV screen. Spread over four floors with open smoking area. Washrooms could have been better. They were smelly, no hand dryer, cheap napkins that were falling off the rack, substandard hand wash liquid soap. Service needs lot of improvement. Bouncers don't even verify availability and simply tell to put down the name and wait for 30 min. The receptionist then says it will take 1 hour. Maybe it was because we were two stags? When complained, manager who was listening to our conversation took us inside and we got a table for two within 5 min. We were surprised that most of the four+ seaters were empty. Then comes the food, most of the servers don't know what is good on the menu and don't even put effort to meet customers demands. Like we asked for mint chutney, mustard chutney, orange peels, beer mug, but were simply told NO by the server for each request. Another experienced server pitched in and at least brought us orange peels. Vegetarian food options look a lot but quality is not that great. Soya chaap was cold. Onion rings were too oily. Their portion size is very small for the price. Pizza tasted like thin crust Dominos pizza, this could be because they do not use wood fire. Veg pulao was the only item among things that we could try between two people that was good without any complaints. All in all, didn't meet the expectations and we will think twice before...
