In Indore Barbeque Nation is located a short distance from RAJWADA Indore (2.7 KM) at Treasure Island Mall (TI Mall) Mahatma Gandhi RD.
Barbeque Nation was founded in 2006 and currently own and operate 150 outlets (including Indore) in India, 5 outlets in UAE, 1 outlet in Malaysia and 1 outlet in Oman.
One of the leading casual dining chains in India, Barbeque Nation pioneered the concept of “OVER THE TABLE BARBEQUE” live grills embedded in dining tables – allowing guests to grill their own barbecue’s right at their tables.
It serves both VEG AND NON-VEG Grilled starters with its delicious main course as well in BUFFET CONCEPT (There is no limit on how much you eat). Prices are pocket friendly per head. Its ambience is excellent and is family restaurant as well. Foodies will fall in love with it. (Must try PRAWNS)
There are always 3-4 waiters there around you, also you can SELF-EXPLORE DISHES and SELF-SERVICE your plate.
And if it’s your BIRTHDAY / ANNIVERSARY, the barbeque offers you a FREE CAKE and CELEBRATION MUSIC and DANCE TEAM for you. Worth spending and all the dishes have their own flavour and looks too tempting. Sweets were good but should have some more variations. Reserve a table prior to your visit otherwise you wouldn’t be comfortable who plan instantly for an outing.
All food served by them are very tasty (Starter, Live Counter, Main Course, Dessert). it’s not possible to eat each and everything. So before entering into BN make your strategy otherwise, they don’t give you time. They can treat you like you are hunger from last few days and today you can eat for next few days also.
Try at least all starter then request for only those who you like most after that jump into live counter after that main course (DON’T THINK TO TRY EVERYTHING JUST LOOK AND SELECT ONLY BEST ONE) and always REMAIN A PLACE FOR DESSERT and eat as much as you can.
TIPS: IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THE HEFTY SUM YOU PAY AS A BILL:
If you want to try some new starter so at time when waiter asked you how’s food Sir / Madam (so just simply said every time its taste same, but good taste) so definitely they can make something new dish for you and serve you.
Do not ever go for welcome drink. It's a strategy by restaurants who offer these buffets. When you drink sugary welcome drink on an empty stomach, it slows down your hunger.
If you are going there, go with an empty stomach. Try not to have breakfast if for lunch or have extreme light one.
Usually, fish or prawns are the costliest food items there. If you observe, the serving guys won't bring seafood items as easily as they bring chicken. Chicken is cheaper and fills your stomach early. So, wait for prawns or seafood option patiently.
If you are not a seafood fan, then mutton is the best option.
If you are going for non-veg buffet, try and avoid veg starters.
Clearly avoid chat counter. You get better chaat taste outside. This is a trap to fill your stomach with cheap items and try to squeeze as much margin out of each customer as possible.
Look for exquisite menu like live non-veg counter. They serve some good dishes.
Check out for some good main course items and grab them. You will have enough capacity to try main course if you follow points above.
Out of desserts, try KULFI as much as you can. Try and avoid easily available items outside like JALEBI, GULABJAMUN which are full of sugar. Go for RABDI, FIRNI, BROWNIE, MOUSSE, PIE, etc.
KINDLY NOTE NO ALCOHOL SERVED ALONG WITH FOOD.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ORDERING A PARCEL FROM HERE BECAUSE FOOD QUALITY / TASTE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT WHEN YOU PLAN TO ORDERING...
Read moreHighly Disappointed by this outlet. We went for an office dinner otherwise I anyways avoid eating in this chain of restaurants because of such shortcomings,
Zero Transparency: There is no display of what all options in Veg and Non veg for starters, Main course and desserts are available. You come to know about a dish available when you see someone on the other table eating.
Highly unsystematic: they will provide you plates through which they can distinguish veg and Non Veg. But this all is pointless as they do not have colour coded barbeque rods, that implies once the rod had non veg on it and next time it may serve veg. Second it also becomes difficult for the people in group to distinguish veg and Non veg.
Not at all Barbeque: Thier Grills are all cold, I think should stop using the word Barbeque. We asked the manager to get the grill replaced but nothing happened.
Below average Taste: the food is undercooked, cold, much lower standard in taste, you will get better food at Highway Dhabas. None of the items in starters is worth eating, Main Course has Nice vegetable to have with any bread of your choice which is decent. And finally Desserts are really the highlights I think they hired a good chef by mistake in their desserts section.
Particularly this outlet specific:
When asked manager about what other things are available in Veg options he started reciting the options we saw 3-4 items not being served when asked he replied, we won't like them, he himself decided for us what we like and dislike. (Ex. Cheesy Brocolli, Soya Chaap) and if that is the case then replace such starters in Veg. They only serve Paneer as that is heavy and the person would eat less.
When asked for the items in Veg the service person said "we are hosting around 100 people, it will take 5-10 mins" what kind of barbeque place is this where same things are served to the group of 100 but still takes time.
While Ordering Mocktails, I tried Carbon Copy Mojito as the name is intriguing which was a charcoal based mojito, and they served me with Blueberry based lime water, I raised the concern so the bartender replied they have the instructions not to add charcoal powder from the company, and then manager apologized by replacing the drink. But point is same manager was taking the order but he was unaware of such changes. And such drinks are the highlights and their menu is kept on the tables.
If anything else left I will edit the review, But all in all its not a place for vegetarians...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Barbeque Nation, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. While I’ve frequently ordered from them online, this was my first time visiting the restaurant in person, and it certainly exceeded my expectations.
To start with, the food was exceptional. From the wide range of starters to the main course and desserts, everything was delicious. A special mention goes to the Gulab Jamuns, which were absolutely divine and a must-try. The concept of offering unlimited food at such a reasonable price is fantastic, especially given the high quality and variety available.
What sets Barbeque Nation apart, in my opinion, is their unique approach to buffets. Unlike other places where you have to constantly get up to serve yourself, here they bring the starters and drinks right to your table, which makes the dining experience much more relaxing. You only need to get up for the main course, which I found to be a great balance. This not only enhances the overall experience but also helps in reducing food wastage, something that’s often a problem with buffet-style dining. I noticed they practice portion control while serving, which minimizes excess food on the table—an excellent and thoughtful practice.
In addition to the amazing food, the service was outstanding. I have never encountered such humble and polite staff in any other restaurant in Indore. They were attentive and made us feel incredibly welcome. To top it off, the chef himself came to our table to personally check on our dining experience, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s rare to see such personalized service, and it really added a special touch to the evening.
All in all, Barbeque Nation is a must-visit for food lovers. Whether you're a fan of grilled dishes, Indian delicacies, or just looking for a great dining experience, this place has it all. I’m already looking forward to...
