Stupefied to try ancient recipes amidst middle of Indore!
Old World Charm is exactly what its name suggests, the charming treasures of old world on your table, in your dish. This place is exactly in front of TI Mall above Mahavir sports and is serving some unique combinations and some lost recipes.
Old World Charm is basically a prominent destination to have a good time with your family on a beautiful evening or to have a good Sunday buffet filled with authentic Indian food.
Yes, they have many options for non-vegetarian lovers but they also some unique and thoughtful combinations for vegetarians as well. The ones I loved are here below-
Jameen ke kebabs- Non vegetarians generally make fun of veg kebabs but here you see a recipe from ancient times where veggies from below the groud are rolled as kebabs. Also, these kebabs are for those who are down to earth 😂😂😂
Lahsun ki Kheer- Weird hai sunne me but the most unique dessert I have ever tried. Highly recommended.
Jungli Aloo- very basic and simple but has a very rich taste.
Indrahaar ki kadhi- nostalgic taste as kadhi is already an household dish.
Hara chana matar- Great green curry to have. Delicious, nutritious and has a great hint of cloves on it.
Concluding my words by saying that you should definitely try this place to ease out from junk foods available in town. Old recipes have...
Read moreI dropped in at this newly opened Restaurant in Indore to try their food delicacies. Their name says it all. They aim at serving you some Royal Cuisine with the Royal Kitchen Secrets which makes their Recipes all the more special. Here's my detailed review of this dine dine Restaurant
Food : ❤️❤️❤️❤️ They serve you authentic Indian food here which had some amazing flavours 😍 I absolutely kept adoring the fact that every dish I tried had auch simple yet unique flavours. They have some great variety for both Veg & Non Veg Food Lovers
Ambience : ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. Since I visited this place for dinner I really enjoyed the candle lit dining experience under the stars & sky. It is a dim lit place with a fine view of city and I absolutely love their ambience.
Service : ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The owner of the place is extremely sweet and learned. He shared a lot of stories behind every dish with us. Also the service was very polite and welcoming.
Price : ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This place is neither too expensive nor very affordable. It would cost you around ₹1000/- for 2 persons.
Overall it is a great place to visit with family or on a candle light date with your partner or with your friends to enjoy some long lost Royal Indian...
Read moreRecently visited Old World Charm for a meal and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The food menu is curated by its Chef owner Mr Ravi Pratap ji and most of the menu is from the lost recipes of Royal households. There are some unique dishes on the menu which you wont get anywhere else. For vegetarians, I would recommend the Indrahari kadhi which has lentil cakes which are steamed and made of five dals. Hare channe muttor ki subzi, it has a nice smoky taste to it For non vegetarians, go for the mutton dishes. The mutton is juicy, tender and succulent. I tried the soole kebab and it melted in the mouth. The Dekchi mutton was again soft and tender. Mutton dahi bada is another unique dish. Jungli Chicken is made with only three ingredients, Red chillies, Chicken and ghee....it tasted delicious. Lahsun ki kheer was another surprise, you should surely try it. All in all, absolutely recommended if you want to experience a culinary history...
