Your trip to Indore is incomplete if you don't visit the famous 'Sarafa' night market. It is even more complete if you visit the 'Sarafa' night market, but do not pay a visit to 'Joshi Vada Pav House'.
First things first, the place serves the best 'Dahi Vadas' in the world. Melt-in-the-mouth, succulent, fresh, delicious, out of the world, hadn't tasted softer and fresher vadas before visiting the place. Not only are the 'Vadas' so amazing, equally amazing is the person who owns this eating place - 'Joshi Ji'. A great entertainer, a great conservationist, a great salesman blended with a unique talent of swirling the bowls filled with 'Dahi Vada' high up in the air without letting even a drop of Dahi drip on the floor. Don't know how he does that, but yes it's definitely worth a sight. You must also try their 'Bhutte ka Kees', a famous Indore dish made of grated corns. Equally good are their Kachoris, which must be tried without fail.
Please go and visit this amazing place. You will come back with a smiling face and a lot...

Read moreDuring my visit to Joshi Dahi Bada House in Indore’s Sarafa Bazaar, I had mixed feelings about the experience. The place is indeed famous for its unique “flying dahi bada” presentation and the soft, flavorful dish topped with their signature spice mix, Jiravan. However, I personally felt it was highly overrated considering the hype surrounding it.
the restaurant is located deep inside the bustling Sarafa Bazaar food market, making it quite difficult to navigate, especially during peak hours. We visited around 7:30 in the evening, and as expected, the market was extremely crowded, which added to the chaotic experience. While the food was decent, it didn’t quite live up to the overwhelming fame it receives.
If you’re in the area, it might be worth trying once for the experience, but there are plenty of other excellent food stalls nearby that offer equally good, if not better, local delicacies. Overall, it’s a one-time visit spot in my opinion, more for the hype and presentation than the...
